Hi Peonie, I'd describe it as a Judy Dench layer look. Trousers x 3, scarves x 3, dress, long cardigan, 5 tops, apart from the dress everything can be mixed up. I'm really pleased. Will no doubt wrestle with guilt for a week :rotfl:

Good on you :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Morning £114.18 on eb@y with 6 hours ish to go. Loving the fact that the clutter is going. Sme things haven't sold which was a surprise given that other stuff went, but that's the bay of e for you :rotfl:
Food shopping came to £44, more than expected but that includes some plants for mum, plus ready made dessert to take up. We're off to do some jobs for her.
Tonight we are tackling the packing of sold items to go to the post office tomorrow. I'm glad I'm not working from home.

Well done on the new wardrobe Tilly.
I know what you mean about relaxed dressing at work, now if any women wear a suit it's assumed they have an interview!!Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

£132.68 on eb@y but need to deduct fees. Half have already paid, four are collecting on Monday, one on Saturday and the others are awaiting payment. All packed up and ready to go
:):)
Massively busy day but tons accomplished.
Dinner tomorrow for kids made and chilled, Mr T and I ate a huge meal Friday and Saturday so are having a salad tomorrow night to balance the calories :rotfl:
No clue about the bank account this weekend as its been too busy. I'll be checking that tomorrow night.
I'm taking DS for a bike ride on Tuesday to get a bit more exercise.
Once more it is Sunday evening, the beginning of a new week and renewed activities for saving the pennies (need to redress the clothes damage), surveys, sorting the wardrobes again. I have no clue whether clothes sell at car boots, but some of the ones I wouldn't eb@y I'll take.
We've decided to get to the car boot for 7am next Sunday. I have masses of carrier bags, loads of change (surely that should be notes for all my treasures I'm going to sell), plus have promised Mr T bacon butties and a flask of coffee - we know how to live :rotfl: Lets see what we make, and if nothing sells then we will popping to the charity shop on the Tuesday.
Off to bed as I'm bushed.

Hi Tilly,
I've lurked on these boards for a while and have read my way from the beginning of your diary right through to this point. I think it's amazing what you've achieved and you seem to have inspired so many people, including myself.
With that in mind, I have just got off the phone to my mortgage provider to find out about overpaying and I'm going to start a diary of my own based on how helpful you say you have found yours.
I'll continue to follow your diary with interest and thank you for the inspiration!0 -
Hi HiddenHen, what a lovely post
. Thanks for dropping by and I'll be on the look out for your diary.
There's a wealth of experience on this forum and people are willing to share to help others, which is fab.
As for reading my diary from start to finish then you need a :staradmin. Well done for not falling asleep :T

Now I know I said eb@y drives me mad, but there's another FLW this weekend and I'm going to relist the stuff which didn't sell, plus another two techie gadgets Mr T discovered in his cave :rotfl:
Then I think that will be it for a while.
No money updates at all.
No lodger updates - 3 on the cards and they can't make their minds up
Payday tomorrow and lots of shifting on the cards. We are just 1.5 months off getting into the £1........ bracket. Still too many zero's but they too will go.
Anyone who is thinking of planting lettuces, cut and come again will take just weeks to grow so plant this week and end of June you'll be picking your own salad :j

Do you have to plant them into the ground? I am thinking of starting to grow things in pots and I quite like the idea of getting a quick return on planting. I am not very green fingered but I think I could manage something like that...maybe.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Hi AJ, salad leaves grow well in most places, so a few pots, or window boxes, or space in the borders, then drop them in. It does save £s.
A packet of seeds will keep you in salad for weeks
