Me too US - tiger trail and 1st class rail please
.
Tilly if India doesn't figure next year we'll get saving the euro cents and go together :T.unhappy_shopper wrote: »@ Tilly, EL and GG, I have made a note of it in my to-do-in-the-future-when-I-retire list. So you will have ample time to save for it - after all I am still in my mid-forties
Is this OK for tiger trail? Not yet posh for first class rail, though I can vouch for second AC (air-conditioned in Indian parlance) rail travel.
I take it this is the start of the MF vacation club. Will take me a while yet but I foresee numerous destinations on the cards. We will need to broaden our numbers, make sure we have all seasons covered, places of special interest, and more than everything, share the high and lows (hopefully not many of the latter) with like minded folk who understand what we are doing and why.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

We did tiger temple whilst in Bangkok ... Now they say the tigers wernt drugged but I didn't believe them, would rather see them in a reserve anyway0 -
Have to admit one of the driving forces for us becoming mfw is to travel, we also want to retire early, the reason, to travel long term, I fancy travelling for 6 months every year, I want to see the world but not from a touristy way from a local/ social perspective, mr el and I discuss holidays very often, we really enjoye the west coast of USA but kept saying it was too short, we wanted to take our time and yet see everything we could so it became a 3 week whistle stop tour, so it's deff on our list to return to.
I can see us easily spending 6 months in India one year, 6 months in Vietnam another year etc
I've always been a person that values experiences more than things I think that explains why my kitchen is falling apart lol0 -
Morning El, I find it hard to believe that this new way of life isn't too far ahead, given how many years we've had a mortgage :T
It's proving a great project for the family - 5 mins spare, flick through a brochure and see what appeals. DKs are loving it.
