Thank you so much, it's such a haul but close to that next hurdle. I know the mortgage is still huge but given it was close to £400k in 2004, it is AMAZING to think we will be under the next hundred soon.

If only we could click our fingers and it disappear :rotfl:

Back to work now - need a bonus next year :)

Well done, Tilly :T Is it party time yet? If not, you need to sell more stuff to your friends/fleabay so that we can get there faster :D
Cos, iceberg, cut and come again salads
Rocket, coriander, parsley, mint (in a pot)
    Broad beans, French beans, peas
    Garlic, onions
    Purple sprouting broccoli
    Potatoes (in bags)
    Carrots (in bags)
    Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries
    Apples, plums, peaches

Good repertoire of veggies, fruits, herbs and salads there. You forgot your basil, Tilly

My carrots have always turned out mangy and crooked, so I don't grow them anymore. Also YS potatoes are much much cheaper than seed potatoes :)

  • Well done on achieving another 10k barrier!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Evening,am feeling pretty relaxed which is probably to do with stopping drinking, and having drunk 3 glasses of wine.

Happy, happy - I don't miss any of our past spending, I relish having a meal plan, an organised freezer and knowing what I need to buy.

I'll be off most of the weekend as we are off on a weekend trip, but thank you to everyone who reads, posts, lurks - I cannot describe the difference you all make :T
