    Hi Tilly,

I stumbled across a post of yours from early last year on someone else's diary thread today where you were talking about paying council tax etc by credit card in order to earn cashback. Just wondered if you were still doing this or if you had moved on to a Santander 123 current account?

    Jimmy

Hi Jimmy, I'm still paying CT by cashback credit card - I don't get charged a fee to pay this way :). I have spoken to an MsE friend about the Santander a/c but can't bring myself to have an account. The Spanish bank caused me never ending frustration and they were inconsistent in their actions and messages.

    Best wishes Tilly x x

Morning El, you haven't offended me at all :)

Weight loss is a strange thing. I would consider myself a fairly sensible intelligent woman - Froggy/GG ssshhhhh :rotfl: - I know how many calories I should have, but I have still eaten too much.

I'm having chicken or fish salads for lunches and am enjoying those :)

Glad to hear the sugar thing is in abeyance at the moment :T

    Best wishes Tilly x x

The world of healthy eating is such a confusing place sometimes, I don't count calories myself as I think I would be constantly hungry if I did , I tend to count carbs ( slow burning ones) although dont count veg, i also count protein, I also make sure I have fat at every meal ( obviously the good fats ... But now we have so much mis-information about that as well :( ) sounds confusing but it really isn't honest lol

The lunches sound lovely and dinner always sounds lovely to me ... You can even make fish sound good and that's a big thing in my book lol

Keep up whatever your doing anyway as it seems to be working very well for you :)
  • I fancied India but am alone on the one. I think it will probably end up being the Far East :)

Whoa, you people making plans to visit God's own country! Hold fire and pay off your mortgages. By that time, I hope that I can offer you free hospitality and cookery course (provided you people buy your airtix) :)

Hi US, we will have to put an MF travel brochure together as we'll all be living at the four corners :rotfl:

Good news on weight loss! You should follow me and Alchemilla - get a horse! You then have no time to eat, too knackered to eat, no time to eat out, burn off loads trying to look after it and no time to spend money!! :money:He he!!

Me too US - tiger trail and 1st class rail please :D.

Tilly if India doesn't figure next year we'll get saving the euro cents and go together :T.

@ Tilly, EL and GG, I have made a note of it in my to-do-in-the-future-when-I-retire list. So you will have ample time to save for it - after all I am still in my mid-forties :D

Is this OK for tiger trail? Not yet posh for first class rail, though I can vouch for second AC (air-conditioned in Indian parlance) rail travel. ;)
