You have been busy Tilly. Well done on the weight loss, I am hoping to tone up and in the process lose some weight.

  • Hi Tilly
I wondered if I could ask your advice... I think I read on your thread about getting cheap cat food online. Any tips for best places? We did look on top cashback but all seemed pricey.
Also, I have been using the famous Tilly tidy method and think its a little bit of genius! I dont miss the money and it keeps me motivated.
Ive got lots of tips from your thread so thanks!

  • Hi Tilly,

Hope you've enjoyed the sunshine today. OH and I had a lovely picnic in Barbondale, next to a confluence of two babbling streams, a place where my parents used to take my sister and I when I was young (about 30 years ago in fact). It was lovely to just sit back on the grass and let the sound of the water just wash over us. Money can't buy THAT!!!

No Tilly Tidies for days now! I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!!!

Morning MMM, cat food doesn't seem to be on offer as frequently as dog food - search for Titmuss on TCB. I tend to buy in bulk and store in the garage - they eat more dry food than wet, and I think from memory I bought a 15kg bag the last time - that worked out much cheaper :).

I'm happy the TTs work for you. It's a long old journey and I find it's a bit of daily motivation :T

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • Good morning, I feel like my exercising mojo has returned :T

We're off for a long walk with the hounds shortly. It was an absolute delight in the garden yesterday. Lawns cut, beds weeded, seeds planted.

Total £co check ins came to 45p - thank you very much :T

We spent a couple of hours in the garden soaking up the sun and doing nothing :T

I also dealt with a letter which has needed doing for months - I've posted that I had something on my mind but couldn't recall what it was - well this was it. Letter sent recorded delivery yesterday so I can relax. I'm loving the study now - it is so much easier to find things and sort paperwork etc.

We're doing an overhaul of one of the sheds today - emptying completely, sorting the stuff and getting shot of anything we don't need.

    Enjoy Sunday :)

    Wow!
Busy day for the Tillyites today!

OH is working until about 3pm today so Thistle is taking the opportunity to do the same. Got some reports to file and must send some stuff off to my District Manager too, in time for my call with her tomorrow. Then a friend is coming round and I'm going to help her prepare a presentation for a job interview she has coming up.

If the sunshine holds out, we may have dinner in the garden, by the pond. For the first time this year!! which will be lovely.

    Happy Sunday Tilly!

Now you can come and clear our study - the study/dining table is invisible under the pile of stuff/papers we have on it.

I am envious of your weight loss. I think I need to cut down on my food intake - not cleaning the dishes at the end of a meal to avoid packing them into the fridge.

Have a good day everyone :)

Fat chance of relying on the weather. It's lashing with Amazonian rain here in Lancashire. Distressing is not the word - my sunny meal in the garden is being swapped for stew and blankets!!!
