Maybe on a no pennies day you should tidy up pounds to cheer yourselves up.
Thanks for the bread ideas- the Delia recipe sounds really promising. I think I might have to make a leftovers list today to meal plan with2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons1 -
Morning Tilly, hope you survive the reconcilliations!
On the teabag thing, i manage three huge mugs from a bag of English Breakfast, Assam, etc. (like good tea:o) but i hate taking tea at work as you can only use the bag once:eek:.Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

We had an exec Costc@ card in June this year and had to earn at least £30 in cashback to make it worthwhile. Over the 6 months we have made just over £47 in cashback, so it was worthwhile. We will continue with the exec card next year, but with the intent of making membership cost neutral (sorry too much US jargon) or free membership.
We've sorted up the 2013 budget. I have increased the food budget, increased the kennel/chattery savings.
Enjoy the last Saturday in 2012

Is cost neutral an American phrase? I didn't know that...1

Xmas eve was last food shop and it will be 32 days until the next large shop. Menu plan is being worked on next, to use all freezer contents.
I'm assuming £5 per week, for fruit and milk during next few weeks. I think £20 is achievable so by next mortgage payment I can OP an extra £300.

Hi Tilly, I was looking into getting a trade c@stco card yesterday, is it worth it for the savings bearing in mind my nearest is about 20 miles away? My mum currently picks up toilet rolls for me from m@kro when she pops in, but I have a chest freezer now so could look at bulk buying food, thank youEmergency Savings Fund - £11002015 Mortgage overpayments = £1

Hi MissOptimistic, we took an exec individual membership out, so I'm not sure what the differences are between trade vs individual, apart from a slightly lower joining fee.
From a practical perspective, I buy quite a lot of stuff in bulk, which averaged across the year helps to reduce our weekly shop. Loo rolls, kitchen roll, bread flour, caster sugar, cling and foil. Mr T sometimes buys beer but only when on offer. We look at all the offers as their meat is very good and whilst not as cheap as bargainous goodies from the supermarket, I can batch cook, box and freeze.
Good luck, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Hi SkintSpice, I'll need a bit of luck to buy fruit and milk for a £5 but I'm going to do my best
