I've just had sprouts again with my evening meal....they really are an underrated vegetable:T

Tilly - do you like the way I manage to keep your diary completely away from mortgage focus. I think we might manage another page or so discussing sprouts before you eventually get it back on track:D
    February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
    MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I cheated on sprouts this year and got a pack of mixed carrots, broccoli and sprouts. That way there are enough sprouts for me to have a few, and it doesn't matter that nobody else likes them.

  • Another sprout lover here - but only with bacon and chestnuts!

Like the idea of a January fiscal fast Tilly - don't think I could make it to the end of the year without another full shop!
    Mortgage 14/12/2012 - £309865
First challenge - clear outstanding loan of £6K by 31/03/2013 before tackling the mortgage
    £3035/£6000

Rather optimistic mortgage free target :rotfl:31/12/2022
  • An afternoon of Pantomime, an evening of cold ham, beef, Nigella turkey mmmmm and I pop back for a quick catch up and my diary has become the sprouts addict thread :rotfl:

I have no sprouts left for bubble and squeaky:(

    Fantastic day x x x

Evening Polkadot, I won't be going food shopping until last Saturday in January - I really won't include fresh fruit and milk though, that will have to be small cash purchases. Shop and Sc@n won't be too happy but I will scan the milk receipt each week. I wonder how possible this is, I love a challenge.

Lois, now your talking, cauli and Brussels, my favourites :):)

Radish, can you stack the Zinfandel empties neatly - the Tilly household have managed to finish a bottle of Baileys - may have to liberally pop our empties into the neighbours recycling boxes :T
