  • I think the hardest part for me at the moment is I really want to overpay asap. however after reading so many diaries the general advice is savings then op??

How to get a happy medium

plus, there are a lot of home improvements needed, i.e DH wants to get a new boiler fitted (oil central heating), apparently this new condensing boiler is more efficient!! which will save us money.

    Oh what to do??

p.s Gardening advice, what tomato seeds do you use, as despite having a conservatory I dont get tomatoes until late August!!

I can vouch for that. We changed our old fashioned back boiler (in the fireplace) for a condenser boiler (in the attic). It halved our gas consumption and just had it's 3rd annual service with no problems.

Think that says it in a nutshell actually

Tomato seeds IL..I would try Sungold..the sweetest most gorgeousest:rotfl: cherry tomatoes you have ever tasted..and they grow well from seed too. To germinate you may want to put a clear plastic bag over the top of the pot.

It's not so much a party as an elite gathering for the select few :p.

    You're in :D.

Pants about Xmas work though .
Can I be included in the elite please? I enjoyed the party at your house so much Tilly that it is only fair you see what you were missing, therefore we all need to be in your elite group :D

I am not managing to OP as much this month and I am really having to make the pennies last this month so I am revelling in your diary instead to try and keep me sane!

Hi AJ, I'm not so certain whether it could be described as an elite group, or an eclectic mix of nutters - I think probably more the latter :)

So for diary scheduling purposes, you will need to hop over to GGs for the 21st December. I would suggest smart casual and it can deteriorate from there. Then in around 5 months ish, it will be party at my place :T

I went mad and OPd a whole £1 today. My accounts all seem to be so clean I have no spare pennies to move :(

I do need to report that I've failed on the NsD. A coat DD wanted from Wallis is in the sale, I think it's about 30% off. No petite miniature sizes in store so Mr T ordered via TCB, with free delivery. I guess that doesn't really count as a NSD as she will pay for the coat anyway :T. Unless I decide to be an extra generous mum :o

Have a good evening and downhill to Friday from here

Thanks for asking me. Yes, I am fine and dandy, except for this biting cold.
I'm available for the cyber party anytime after 21st Dec. :)

Evening Froggy, sorry to hear that you will be working on a couple of important holiday days, but don't worry as GG and I will be round at your place, emptying your booze cupboard - please remember to fill it up and don't forget to stock the fridge with festive goodies - we will wash up, put away, vacuum, dust and fluff the cushions before we leave - wont we GG?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Are you sure you want to raid my fridge.. You might find some weird dishes in there!!
Not sure I can trust GG with my place? :p

Tilly, will you look after her for me? Please make sure she behaves, will you?
