Hi Mortgage_Girl, thanks for dropping in. Looks like 2013 veggie gardening will be fun, the more the merrier :T
Froggy, fortunately it's going to take me a while to get own to sub £200k, so your liver can have a rest:). Anyway, we will be partying for a week at GGs :rotfl:

Pants about Xmas work though .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Evening Froggy, sorry to hear that you will be working on a couple of important holiday days, but don't worry as GG and I will be round at your place, emptying your booze cupboard - please remember to fill it up and don't forget to stock the fridge with festive goodies - we will wash up, put away, vacuum, dust and fluff the cushions before we leave - wont we GG?

Have a good day Tilly shall look forward to the sub-200K party after GG's1 -
Morning TO, we were cross posting :rotfl:
It's going to take me a while to get sub £200k but we always need things to look forward to :T. To think I will be posting £199k etc makes me feel a bit peculiar actually. With the Spanish bank it's was such a nightmare to OP and we didn't even try and OP until my LBM, so to think we will be sub £200k in the foreseeable future is amazing, I know that's still a huge mortgage anyway, but it's going :j:j
Right, off to make some porridge

To save you time, basically:
- Spend less
- Overpay ridiculously small amounts of money as well as mahoosive ones
- Don't leave the drinks cabinet unattended :rotfl:
· Spend less!!Doing my best! I have been avoiding the shops, ignoring advertising on TV, listening to my work colleague who is spending an absolute fortune on presents for her children and trying not to do the same.
· Have started NSD
· Trying to persuade DH not to spend.
· Drinks Cabinet sorted:beer:1 -

Hi IrishLassie, that's no problem at all. Just imagine the credit card bill your colleague will have - and you won't :T
The first few weeks are great for making sweeping changes quickly which saves money straight away,or very quickly and after that it comes down to finding a balance of spending which allows for fun, but not insanity. Equally it's hard to keep focussed if there is no fun at all. I have an entertainment pot and some times it gets used up, such as for the tickets we bought for a gig recently, other months it doesn't. At least I know we can do something occasionally without worrying. It is occasionally though and certainly not weekly/monthly
