    Hi Tilly

Way to go on the mortgage reduction :j

I have a Costco near me, would you recommend it? There is quite a big fee and so was interested in what you purchase from there and whether you think it's worth it. I am in a sector that qualifies but was a bit put off by the website.

Hope that you have a great week.

  • Evening SJ, we tend to bulk buy loo rolls (6 months at a time), meat when on offer is good value and good quality. Some stuff I don't think is worthwhile (I find some of their veg goes off quickly) but as I shop in L!dl or Ald! then most veg comes from one or the other. I bulk buy milk, drinks for school, cream etc which seems good value.

I must admit we don't go each week, I check their offers and only go when they have a staple food/product on offer. It can be a lethal place to go and I always go the opposite way to the normal flow around the store, to retain sanity and control.

My freezer is now full to bursting with home cooked 'ready' meals and it looks great. I get a 'ready brek warm glow' when looking at the freezer inventory knowing I haven't got much to do over the next few weeks :T

Hope all is well with you, Tilly

Fantastic news you have done so well. I have never used Costco but we do go to Mackro and I find that very worthwhile for the offers and meat. It's free if you have a business

  • Morning, 68p ac tidy OPd. NSD ahead and working from home. Chicken casserole for dinner, made on Sunday in SC apart from veg prep no cooking to do, just heat it up and I MW veg :)

It's pouring and I was taking the hounds for a route march - I think I will wait and go a little later.

I am well and truly back in the saddle and loving it :T
