Good morning Tilly:)
Your organisational skills really are second to none and you most definitely should be rewarded with chillaxing time today after your fridge/eb*y mammoth efforts:A
I have to agree with you - there is absolutely no need for anyone to discard rubbish, complete and utter laziness:mad: (and I never use of of these:mad: so really am:mad:at people who do this).
I hope you had/are having a lovely conversation with your dogs, I sung a chorus of Scouting for Girls 'She's so Lovely' to my dog earlier on. I could tell that she appreciated it;)

Good to see the MFW crew are all anti-waste!
Never mind in public, I get annoyed with people discarding recyclable items in their housesCome on people - glass, envelopes, batteries and fabrics should not be going to landfill...

Morning all

Hi, we reuse, or recycle everything we can here, so definitely waving the flag for the environment.
I have cooked sweet potato, mashed with a little nutmeg and prepared for the freezer. Then three bags of mixed sliced/chopped peppers. Gone off menu plan Monday and Tuesday to use up some leftover, but the original meals were coming from the freezer, so no waste there.
Just shared a platter of figs, clementines, strawberries and raspberries and Mr T is making eggy bread - no clue what that's really called.
@NP, I haven't tried singing to e dogs, but I could have a go:)

I think eggy bread is what down to earth people call French toast?1

Is it French Toast?
Completely agree about the rubbish - was at a party the other day and all the empty beer and wine bottles were being thrown in the bin. Was aghast, the bag clinked as it was taken outside. Had to bite my tongue though as I don't know the people that well. It is so easy to recycle now, there really isn't much reason not too.

Did someone mention waving a flag?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
Mortgage Balance = £0

More flags :T
I get really irritated when people don't recycle - I use egg boxes for starting some seeds, then empty loo rolls for others, where a longer root is needed
I often buy in bulk, so as an example the outside bags which the 15kg dog food arrives in, I will be using to grow potatoes in next year - I am no where near as practical as loads of people on here, so if I can reuse stuff, many more people can.

Just looked it up and yep, it's French toast. It's always been eggy bread to us, never knew we had such refined treats
