  • Hi GG, I don't think I won the gold medal, but if there's a gold for swearing, sweating and saying 'my bum hurts' then I would be in the middle of the podium :rotfl:

It really was good fun and all of us were in fits of laughter very regularly - mainly at me trying to get up the hills :)

Hi J1982, many thanks for delurking. We are all on the same journey, just different numbers and it is a huge help having so many people around to offer support and advice. I am trying to avoid buying an accidental house but if we can reach our target on FBs challenge, then you never know. Welcome to the MfW clan.

    Best wishes, Tilly x

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Tilly Olympics completed late yesterday afternoon. Much laughter, 'sweating' sorry but we were working pretty hard. Cycling, star jumps, bar press ups, sit ups, climbing a wooden structure and down the other side, then more cycling

Hurray it finally happened... I think that suggestion was a few weeks back.

Well done to all for taking part, it sounded like you had a lot of fun!

Autumn is definitely on the way, I couldn't see the trees over the road this morning due to fog

  • Morning,

    Lodger money OPd

Must check H reward account, see if the 2 x £5 are ready to move
19p OP to tody bank account

Tolun@ is taking forever to get to payout

Printed off a few vouchers to use today

Paying cash in to bank from eb@y sales - big items collected - will OP when cleared

Posting eb@y items this morning - almost £60 profit so very pleased with that - all to be OPd.

Risotto this evening using chicken stock made yesterday after roast chicken for dinner. Chicken and ham pie on Tuesday using final AF suet pastry mix.

I still have br@nston pickle type stuff to use up as I find another couple of bottles in the garage.

That's all for now. Need to keep spends low over the next few days as we celebrated a bit for DD results and entertainment pot ran out :T

  • Hi MRN, back of menu planners and freezer lists, plus old paints from when they were small - I would have thought they had dried out by now, but they were still ok ish.

I used some SSM vouchers yesterday and stocked up on deodorants and shampoo - thank you Mission Control.

Spending diary is a real eye opener and we are updating every evening.

Off to check whether H@lif@x rewards have pitched up.
