I love these discussions. It reminds me that despite OH's actions (ipad, triathalon bicycle etc.) he's verbally committed to being MF and puppy parents!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.1 -

What seeds have you planted Tilly? We are looking to do some veg for next year, I'll have to look at when things need planting.
Sounds like you've been really busy1 -
Hi Ammonite, I have planted cut and come again salad leaves, radishes and more potatoes. I use cloches and normally have HG salad until mid November ish, if not a bit later depending upon weather.
Good luck and it is really worth having a go x x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Hi MRN, if you have a local replacement window company, then ask them if you can have any of the windows they remove.
You can make cold frames, cloches, a plethora of warming 'homes'

Tilly Olympics completed late yesterday afternoon. Much laughter, 'sweating' sorry but we were working pretty hard. Cycling, star jumps, bar press ups, sit ups, climbing a wooden structure and down the other side, then more cycling
Goodness Mr Tilly and I were weary.
Free entertainment and it just goes to show what can be done for nothing. I can see me aching today but DS said "let's go out on another bike ride on Sunday" aaaggggghhh.
Delighted that Dr Who is back on and Stricty starts mid September. Nights are drawing in and autumn is on its way. I love the change of smells in the air as the seasons move along. No heating until October.
Have a good day, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Hi Tilly,
Just wanted to say a quick hello!! :hello:
Having read both yours and GallyGirls diaries a few months ago, I have been lurking ever since!
Both of you have been a huge inspiration ( although thankfully GG has also been a mfw inspiration, not to 'accidentally' buy a house Inspiration :rotfl:) to my journey so far!!
Now technically I'm not an official mfw as we are the road to saving for a 25% dep, however come Apr 2013 we should be ready to make the big leap buying a house! Then the real fun begins on my MFW journey (hopefully to be mf within 6 years)
Anyhow just wanted to say a big well done to you both on your journeys so far and long (or should that be 'short') may it continue :T

2014 - Buy (hopefully) the 'Forever' Home :T
2024 - Be MF
