I am having a lavender bath this evening and an early night:)
Yeah last night was better thanks for asking. Been stopping painting about 7pm and keeping windows cracked all night so it should be ok. I think I'm just anxious to get it all finished before I got back to work on Monday.
Enjoy your soak.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.1 -

Hi MRN, a new job and a puppy sounds like a great way to end the year.

Fingers crossed....although the puppy depends on the job and I've been looking/applying since January but I'm remaining positive! Another application today and a closing date last week. I really need to reduce my commute (for sanity and the cost of fuel) but it has to be the right job career-wise.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.1

Ahh a puppy!!!
Reducing commuting is better for your overall health too I'm sure. Commuting is the worst parts of my day (especially when the kids are at school! - not my kids - other kids! the roads are packed!).

Good morning, spending diary working well and no unnecessary spends taking place. We have made a load of pesto as basil has grown well this summer, along with salad leaves. Just a pity other things were poor. I have planted some potatoes to see if they make it to Christmas - no idea as I have never planted them so late. We have planted lettuces of various types over the last few weeks, so should have fresh salad until December ish. They are grown under large cloches.
Plums and apples from the garden this week, next set of raspberries will be ready in a few weeks.
Tomatoes - most plants have been useless but 3 or 4 of them seem to be offering a few fruits. They normally keep me going through to Octber, but not this year.
Mr Tily and I have spent a lot of time talking yesterday about the kids, our future, what we need vs want. Very productive time. All helps to keep us on the straight and narrow.
Have a good day, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:
