  • Afternoon, a little food shopping today but only basics. Veg, fruit and milk and butter. No more food shopping until next Friday.

Menu plan is still working well, it does have to be rejigged occasionally as the social life changes things, however, shopping is pretty much under control.

One garden job still left to do but that will be finished first thing tomorrow.

eb@y items ready to be loaded up tonight. A lot of sorting out has been completed and if all items sell, that's anther declutter session over.

Nothing gets purchased any more, unless it is a real need. Certainly helps keep the cash where it belongs and is good for the mind. Both DH and I feel better for sorting things out.

Another outstanding job is the receipts and this will have to wait until later Wednesday. Not in the mood to tackle today.

Hope everyone is enjoying the BH weekend.

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • Hello Tilly,

I was just being nosy about property number two, to be honest! Sounds lovely, and it must be nice to see your future plans already almost a reality. Good luck to you, you work hard and you deserve it,

Hi Tilly, please also send my belated congratulations to Miss T. They are some impressive results and I'm sure are well deserved.

  • Thanks Katsu and CathT, one happy girl.

Maybe it's the holidays Katsu, but I am really not in the mood to cook at all. Saying that, I am forcing myself to cook, but it's not quite the same :)

Best wishes to you both, Tilly x

    Hi there Tilly

Well done to DD:T brilliant news

Wondered what your offer was on cat food. I have just noticed that we need some too but can't find the offer on the grabbit board - I never seen to find anything on there, must get into it more!!

Glad you are tackling the garden, I love and hate mine in equal measures, tackled some tricky jobs last weekend but this weekend have done nothing - sadly!! Just feeling v tired, saying that I am batch cooking lasagne so it isn't all bad!

  • Hi SJ, good timing, I have just sat down again after making a pasta sauce.

M@rries are doing 48 fishy whiskas sachets for £10 -around 21p each sachet - I bought two boxes :T

Well done on the lasagne front - that's Mr Tilly's favourite. I made it last week and he has asked for it twice since :rotfl:

I still have things to put on eBay so that's the job after dinner - family affair with any profits going to Panto tickets :)

Have a good week and put your feet up
