Will def need to have a rethink about s&s then!!:D
Thanks for salad info. I don't think they are cut and come again so I'll just have to live and learn and just plant a few seeds at a time lol. Yes, it is quite a dense carpet, but it was a small seed packet and not your normal size so could be worse lol! In fact thinking about it, I think it was a free packet so nothing lost really and I've had one lunch from them so far and should def manage another two.:D

Good morning, sun is out
. Another NSD ahead and dinner is a pasta bake, using up left over ham, chorizo and vegetables along with a little cream which needs finishing.
Working in the office today so ironing will need to be finished shortly or after work. The week is go so quickly, soon be Friday.
The pile for a car boot is increasing so I am hoping by early July we can have a go.

Hmmm, like the pasta bake idea - thanks for that. I might just do that tomorrow as I have bendy veg and a bit of chorizo (and loads of tomatoes). I'm sure I can make something up along those lines

To continue the cooking to suit footie theme, chicken Kiev is on the menu to tonight. Never made that before, so it could be a gamble. Anyway, chicken breasts have garlic butter stuffed in a slit and they are sitting in the fridge. I have a couple of rolls I can whizz up, plus two crusts. That should be enough to coat them. Serving with potato wedges and salad.
I have some leftover natural yoggy and a little single cream left, so am having a go at lemon and lime ice cream later on. I have two limes and 1/2 lemon to use up. Limes are a little dry but once I bash them about a bit I think it will work.
Having a couple of days of quiet time as not feeling marvellous. Quite fed up of the rain, it has poured this morning. Strawberries are loving it though.
Should have been a NSD today but one of our cats decided to pee on the bed last night, whilst I was in it :eek::eek: Not that it would have been any better if I hadn't been in the bed :rotfl: That's never happened before and was a shock to her and me....... Quilt now at cleaners as its mahoosive - not very happy with her, plus meant jumping out of bed and changing the bedding last night - something we could have done without
especially as I felt rough.
Ironing finished and last but one (should have said penultimate but my English language usage seems to be declining) is just finishing.
Have a good day and enjoy the footie if you are watching, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

No clue what is happening with the weather today, we seem to be having all seasons in 7 hours :T
On a good note I have received my £1 OJ voucher, sorry the brand name has completely escaped me :rotfl: DD has put it in her Fathers day card as a joke - he will be happy as it's his favourite.
Payday soon and then back to normal but will continue to eat through the larder. The press seem to indicate cost of food is coming down but I can't see that.
I have counted my savings pig contents - I am saving money for an annual remembrance lunch late November, for my close relatives who have passed away over the last year or so. On track with savings, which is amazing as I throw £2 and £1 coins in, and haven't seen any £2 coins for ages. Probably such a silly thing, but I feel quite proud to be putting this money aside. We are not noticing it and will allow for a good time, lots of memories shared and hopefully much laughter
I am also putting a hamper together for a good friend's birthday - she loves cooking and I will add to the goodies, checking shelf life. I am tempted to do the same for DD but with a different theme.
DD had a bargainous shop in G@P yesterday and really thought about her purchases :money: training with the kids is clearly paying off.
That's it for now. Have a good afternoon, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Morning, delightful grey sky on the 16 June - its more like November today. Anyway, Mr Tilly is driving us off for a Rupert Bear adventure today. We are checking our some CS shops in a different area.
I need to take some cash out of the bank today - no cards are being used at the moment
. I need to buy some broccoli, bananas and peppers and that's it for the whole of next week :j. £3 spend I think which is a result.
I have a lot of potatoes to use up so tonight is rosti with bargainous steaks, and a grated carrot, sesame seed/oil salad. I am making a cheese and potato pie for Monday night with roast peppers and garlic. On Sunday I am preparing a lasagne and will then store in the fridge until Tuesday - footie night so I don't want to be cooking.
Ice cream last night was fab and jut goes to show what you can do to use up left overs/almost on the turn ingredients.
Sorry, this seems to have turned into a cookery thread today, but probably because I am conscious I don't want to be spending unnecessarily. I need to ask Mr T to make some bread today - that can be done when we get back. If I roast some garlic, then he can make a garlic loaf as well, that really is delicious and goes down well with all.
Right off to start the ironing, have a good day. Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Morning, well the shopping came in a £8.50 but that's mainly down to buying raspberries, spray starch, plus jersey mids - more potatoes when I am trying to use them up  Not to worry, they will be gone on Wednesday evening.
I am off to neaten a couple of hedges, (I chose my words carefully there :rotfl:). I won't be swinging the hedge trimmer, will leave that to Mr T as I don't feel up to it, but it will look lovely when complete.
Definitely struggling with energy at the moment, so doing things in bursts of 10 mins ish then having a break. I ordered some stuff from Superdr&g on line and that's pitched up and the cashback is visible. It was all offers and has stocked up toiletries for the men folk.
NSD planned, although I would like to find a largish geranium. May try the market later today and see if I can find a bargainous one.
