Glad you have finally moved. Did it release equity for your Portugal improvements?

We've been able to save most of it since being MF but we've always been cash poor in terms of money not ring fenced for something.

Now we have a fab house and cash in the bank - just need to decide what to do with it in terms of interest.

    Really love it here xxxxxxx

  • Morning, grey day here but no heating on and the house is too hot. I'm opening windows 😳

Mr T is building a wardrobe insert for built in wardrobe- gives me more hanging space and a few cubes for handbags - Gally, I will be emptying my bag once I've found the box I empty the contents into :rotfl:

I'm off to do a food shop early afternoon. Where we lived before every major supermarket/store was no more than 10 minutes away - slightly different here but once I'm sorted and planning it will be fine. I'll be shopping in different places depending upon my jaunts out.

    Very happy days - I've got a cleaner starting next week @ £8.50/hour. What a difference. She's doing 3 hours a week

  • OMG this house is so well insulated - I'M BOILING

Gally - you'll love it - you can imagine me. Underfloor heating - builder wonders why the windows are wide open - "because I'm sweltering" is my response.
