Normality is resuming. A bit of KM focusing on papers will be taking place this afternoon.
Only family goal for this week - prepare photos for Tilly clan photo book - gifts for big birthdays taking place this year.
Lodger has paid and money moved. All pennies have been Tilly Tidied although I have found some actual coinage requiring a trip to the bank.

Hi Tilly,
Happy new year. Best of luck this year and your Portugal plans.
Just wanted to say I am a long time lurker/ stalker. I started reading from your very first post and I am now somewhere on page 76:j. It is going to take me a while before I get to page 500+
Enjoying it thoroughly though :cheesy:
Keep keeping on. Like you say forward and onwards:D
Cheers,

Hi Maria, that's a lot of reading and certainly the last few pages will be general chatter. Once we had cleared the mortgage I reduced my posts
. I miss the benefits gained from posting daily but will be increasing as we renovate.
MCI, so much has happened to us all over the last few years. I can't believe we're starting the renovation this year.
We aren't moving to Portugal this year, just downsizing to an area we enjoy. Mr T has 2 more years to go - he's retiring at 50. What we are doing though is getting the house started ready for when we move.
Our architect has just a small iteration to do to the internal layout. We're also getting mains water to service the house rather than from our well. Finally we're having the pool heated to enable us to use it 12 months of the year.
It's all a bit daunting right now but we are working hard to make sure we're prepared. I'm still selling stuff on eB@y and will have our final items (before we move house) uploaded by Saturday night.
Best wishes, Tilly xx2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

This is all sounding so wonderful, Tilly! I'm glad to hear you're still doing your thing on ebay, and certainly after I've done my tax return, I'll be starting back there.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hi Tilly
Just sticking head round door to say hope you and family T are all well. I've not posted in so long so must do something to rectify that. I've still been doing the MFW lark but been making many changes in the background to make life simpler...
Had a quick lurk and not sure whether I saw it on yours or GG's thread but saw that you were possibly going to meet up in Seville this year, I'm so envious, I visited there for first time last year and loved it
Regards
