Morning
Received confirmation today that island units arrive 3rd May, island will be put together 8th and work surface fitted 10th May. Just a few weeks to go and everything will be finished - inside anyway. It will have taken 3 months but that is allowing for lead times for both trades people and products.
On holiday as of this evening and still a load of jobs to do. I think I cuppa will help focus my brain

3 months is a pretty fantastic timescale for achieving the inside to be how you want

Hello Tilly, just spent time going back a couple of years to catch up. So pleased everything has gone your way, with the ups and the downs. All part of life's rich tapestry.
I wish you health and happiness with Phase 2 of your life.

Afternoon, blinking windy in our neck of the woods but it's been sunny and dry which has been a blessing.
Lovely time away with MFW chums. Port and gin make for relaxed evenings 😉
Quick update on progress. Shed delivered and built on Friday. Loads of storage space and everything has been checked to make sure it sparks joy. Hooks, shelving and flooring are done inside and everything now has a home.
I have 5 things to list on the bay of e. I'll do the text tomorrow with pics but not upload until next Saturday. If they don't sell I'll put on FB. That will result in nothing remaining in the garage which isn't useful/needed.
Tomorrow morning is car cleaning. DS and I are going to valet my car inside and out. All cleaning products are readily accessible now the garage is sorted. Once it's polished I'm hoping it will be easier to clean - maybe I'm imagining that.
I collected mum this morning and brought her over for lunch. It was lovely to see her laughing with the children and Mr T. She finds it hard to see and hear but came out with a corker at lunchtime which had us all in hysterics.
Busy week ahead but from next weekend we will have time to stop and think. Final job is the island and that's on schedule. I'll have a bit of moving things about - garage to utility, utility to island - then the inside is done 😀
Mr T has taken photos of the garden and is putting the garden design together. We will start the work later this year. We want a few weeks just to be - then we can start digging :T
I've quite a bit of finance stuff to catch up on but will start the week after next.
Just remembered that I need to buy a soft broom for outside - will put this on my to do list for tomorrow.
Hope everyone is enjoying the BH.
Best wishes Tilly xx2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:
