Pls let u now here as soon as he turns up at home, I am sure he will.. poor little one, is it very cold in Scotland now?

Do you have any kennels /pounds like we have here in London?

I know you said you do not have dog wardens... so where all the found dogs go? Who deals with them?

OK so he practically run away from home then? That is easier than if he run off in some strange to him place, there is a chance he will be able to retrace his steps and come back... what is it, just over 24 hours now?

Is the polic station very far from where you live? Did you ever walk with him that way, would he know how to get back home from there?

I hope he turns back home soon....

No- I don't know why he went there. It was just to get away from the bangs. If he saw the flashes- he'd change course and go in another direction. He nearly yanked my arm out of its socket the other night trying to get away from them, luckily we were just walking in the door.

They really should be banned. The police said they'd had two other reports of missing dogs due to the noise.

The police station take them, then they go to a rescue place 20 miles away within 24 hours. It's freezing. The car is frozen over.

I'll post as soon as he's home (oh please let him come home). Thank you again for your marvellous support.

Did you call that rescue place and report him missing to them? Telluing them he is not chipped and had no ID tag on hi scallar?

If not, pls call them first thing tomorrow morning as he may have been picked up but someone and taken there poor thing.

It is very important you tell them he is NOT chipped and does not have ID on his collar so they can keep an eye out for him in case he arrives there...

Worried with you here, especially as he is an old boy and you say its so cold out there :(

Tried to call, but got machine- and left a message. I'm so sorry to have worried you like that-but appreciate that someone cares enough.

My two sons saw my appeal/status on FB and called me. They're both in the army, and one called from Dubai, bless him. My partner Skyped me from Oz, but I couldn't speak to him- eyes all puffy and keep bursting into tears. Shouldn't you be in bed ?

That's a different site to the one I posted on earlier. It was lost-dogs Scotland. Darn it. I'll get him onto this one right now
