Rising, what can I say- I wish I could help your pain. I've got my candles ready for Ruars and Ben this evening.

Also have two for my Milamber and Katala kittys- lost to the road earlier this year.

Here's to ALL of our babies past and present. We loved them, we love them, and we'll be seeing the ones who've had to leave us at the bridge some day.

My young nieces came to mine the other day as they wanted to see Magic (in case she left for the bridge and they hadn't said goodbye)

Completely heartbreaking but the youngest (7) said ' it's ok if Magic goes to heaven, there are lots of people and dogs there, they will look after her for you and she will be safe til you can go and get her'

I had to leave the room to sob. She is such a precious child.

Oh dear Lisa. So hoping for some good news for you. So many good caring people on this thread are suffering as we prepare to go into 2012 and I wish to God there was some way I could help, but of course there isn't.

I haven't said much as its too upseting but have been following the thread each day and saying silent prayers, I've also lit a couple of candles. Hoping that Ruars is home safe soon and wherever he is tonight he's safe from the fireworks, Hoping for a miracle for Magic and all the other babies that are poorly.
God bless all who are in pain tonight for whatever reason, lets hope that 2012 brings forward the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm loathe to say Happy New Year to you all on this thread simply because I know there are reasons why it wont be, for some of you.

Well, Really was just to let you know that Alan was at a party last night-and the friends that were throwing the party had been going to have fireworks-but because of Ruars, had decided against it. So at least one person was decent enough to listen.

It was worse than 5th November here! Although I will say that the garden in front of us, that had that volley on 05/11 was very quiet, whereas they usually have the full display.

All the cats were in, and Bruce just wuffed a bit at them..doesn't seem to bother him overly much, thank goodness.

Don't know what I thought would happen though- sounds silly, but a part of me thought 'well if fireworks are going off, he might get spooked where he is, and run away-then come home' Is that a daft thing to think? If whoever has him doesn't know what he's like, they'd let him out for a wee and he'd bolt again? But bolt somewhere where poeple would see him?

I know-clutching at straws here. I'll stop dribbling on yet again.

Lisa, let us know how Magic is doing if you can.
