Thank you Clootie.. the finder messaged us though-and the one he found was too young, and wasn't Ruars. He was very nice about it as well. He was disappointed for us.
But I really do appreciate the offer, thank you so much.Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

Haven't managed to read all of the thread, but have you tried Moray council/vets/dog warden etc.?
I have my fingers crossed for you.0 -
It's a long thread Becky. Yes, Moray have all his details, and he's on the Brumlay Brae website as well.
I've covered from outside Elgin to beyond Inverness/ Aviemore. It's just so odd that he's vanished.:(Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

Glad the word has been spread. Might be worth leaving your details at Inverness airport too, incase he's in the Dalcross area. I think there's a boarding Kennels between Dalcross and Inverness too (Polfaden I think? Not sure how to spell it). A message to them might be worth while too.
Here's hoping he turns up safe and sounds soon0 -
Ohhhh...sorry sazzy.0

Thanks Becky. One of my best friends works at the airport, and she's been covering there.
I know the kennels you're talking about- it's the one with the dog statue on the A96 which makes you look twice because you think it's a real dog. Colbre Kennels is near there as well, and their owner owns the pet shop in Nairn who phoned me today to ask for an update, so I know that's covered. I'm not sure Polfaden take 'strays' and I emailed them a while ago, but no harm in covering it againRuaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

Sorry to hear that it's not him, Sazzy. I was holding my breath when I opened the thread, when I saw that you'd posted.
(((Hugs))) to you and Sean.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0
