I am still checking daily hoping for some good news and keeping everything crossed for Ruar's safe return. It's the not knowing what will be crushing you, your mind must be working overtime but don't give up hope, he is out there somewhere x
Wish there was more we could do to help you.0 -

Thanks you for the positive thoughts, and support yet again.
I think I'd be doing a naked streak round the estate if he came home, covered in tinsel and jingly bells. Give folk nightmares for months to come!
You're right though- the not knowing is the most horrible part. You can't grieve as such- it's like being in a state of limbo-having to get on with things-but it's never out of of your head. It's the first thing I think of in the morning, and the last thing I think about at night.
We had decided not to put a tree up this year, because well, Alan's 24, and with the 5 cats we just felt it was more bother than it's worth.. BUT if our old boy came back- it would be up with millions of lights, and all the parcels under there so he could rummage in them and eat whatevers got sweeties in it(which he loved doing) Even if we wrapped a selection box up in another box and two layers of paper, he'd find it-we'd come downstairs to ripped paper and a very guilty-but smug- looking Ruars.
The boys, and Sean have all said that we would trade every single gift to have Ruars home. I asked Ross what he wanted sent over to Dubai for his Xmas, and he just said 'the knowledge of the big boy being home'Oh I wish son, I really wish I could.
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

And I'd give up all my chocolate and wine. If you knew me, you'd understand just what a huge sacrifice that really is.
Not posting much but still hoping lots. xHerman - MP for all!0
