That was not the terminology referred to.

Just because you want to dress it up in some politically correct terminology doesn't alter the fact that they are still customers.

The Job Centre call benefit claimants 'customers' nowdays for some very odd reason.

There's a fine line between good fun banter, and bullying. If you don't want him to say it to you anymore, he should respect those wishes. I work in hotel management, and we banter all the time, but at the same time we're professional when it comes to work. If someone doesn't like the banter, we won't involve them in any banter. It's pretty simple.

Your manager is setting a terrible example, and sounds like a terrible manager. Do you have a HR manager? if so, I'd file a complaint with them.

My boss refers to me as" nob head every day" i asked him to stop as i find it offensive and he just says "ok tit head" what can i do ???

it sounds like somewhere i used to work when working for an agency as he would come out with stuff like it. I'd mention it to a higher boss that your getting fed up with it as they should do something for you like asking him to stop or moving you departments

Ok send your elderly parent into care and let them be called punters, see how you like it
  • Do you have a head shaped like either?

Might not be an insult, may be an observation :D
