Me and mr tru work at the same place (him full time, me part time). The owners are husband and wife. Boss refers to mr tru as 'bell end', he refers to boss as 'knobsack'. Just to keep things fair, the wife is referred to as 'mrs knobsack'. I have no idea what they call me, no-one's been brave enough to give me a name yet :rotfl:

    lol knobsack,
  • I do not call him a nob head and i have never called him a tit head, but after making me look a nob head on here today and posting what he finds funny i will now call him 3 million and one -ub40

http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=797 is the acas guide for employees on bullying and harassment.

If someone treats another person in a way which is unwanted, insulting or which in any other way compromises their dignity at work, that can be bullying. It is the recipient's perception of the conduct which is relevant, and not the perpetrator's perception. If the recipient tells the perpetrator that the conduct is unwelcome, and it continues, the perpetrator can be in real trouble under employment law.

Why should someone be bullied out of a job by someone who is breaking employment law?

I can't remember now from the original post how big this company is, but I agree with the comment to record all instances, and to put it in writing that you find such behaviour to be insulting and demeaning (or whatever words you feel apply) and ask for it to stop. This all helps to protect your position if things escalate.

Given your performance on the House Buying Renting Selling forums last year I can see why he would have such fun winding you up.

I'd post this on Trip Advisor if I were you, wum
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)
  • I agree with you Yorkie, I myself would find this very insulting in the workplace. I am easy going, enjoy a laugh but if I felt it was meant and personal I would certainly be saying I want this to stop. I would take it further. You cannot call someone knobhead or tithead in the workplace unless there is a mutual..ie..bond, banter friendship between you!
