natwest offline?

I am with Think Banking which uses RBS and still down and no money credited today..

So looks like i will have to wait untill monday now to be credited now ..

What gets my goat is that all NatWest can (and will) do is apologise. That of course doesn't help those who have been hugely inconvenienced by this problem. NatWest will no doubt get off with a mild slap on the wrist (if that) and won't suffer any kind of fine.

If this happens again I'll start banking elsewhere, and I would urge other NatWest customers to do the same - THAT will make them sit up and take notice.

I have just managed to access Monday's funds via a generic ATM in regards to an RBS account.

I checked an hour ago, and nothing - so they clearly are making some progress.

I don't think my carers allowance will credited now or over the weekend to my account as they closed at 4.30 today.. annoying when you need the funds

If the funds are normally credited over the weekend, that means the transaction would have already been sent to the bank, so once the bank finish their processing, it should be creditted. Nothing to do with when they closed.

It was Carer's Allowance and Child Benefit I was expecting, so I am hopeful for you that it will be now sitting there ready.

It's you local branch that will have closed at 4.30pm. Not the staff who will credit Monday's funds to your account. They'll be working 24/7.

Just sent a text to the bank and checked online aswell still not showing on my accounts..

Maybe later or tommorrow but i doub't now as my bank is now closed untill monday morning..

Think banking is online and telephone only .. no branches

Did you read posts #137, #138 & #139 ? don't know why we bother repying - Doh !

Think banking transactions may be processed later in the batch.
