    Morning everyone

Bit dreary here, too; we're all up late didn't get down until 6.30 and have to take DS to work for 7 - he overslept, too!

Littlies are going to a friend's daughter's party at 11, DH arriving half way through so I can go to work, won't be back until after 5 so not sure if we're going to a bonfire or not. DS (4.5) hates loud noises, esp fireworks, so we'll see.

Regardless of whether we go to a bonfire, tea is going to be something quick and easy - grilled cheese on toast, or omelettes, or something. Need an early night - a week's worth of broken nights is catching up with me! - and do a bit of Christmas present-making.

Have a good day all, hugs and kisses all round.

    A xo

Just reading the news about that terrible crash :(:(:(:(
I think a couple of the ladies are in Somerset so I hope you and yours are all OK and that goes for the MSE collective too.

Plans for today are to pick up H's bike from the garage, he took it in for a quote at a cost of £50 :eek::eek: Standard "insurance charge" which smacks of nothing more than a licence to print money  This bl00dy woman had better admit liability of the accident or we're gonna be bearing the brunt of this (insurance excess) and our insurance.

I've got my mum and dad and niece and nephew over later on tonight for a wee fireworks display. We have one at home each year for our kids and its much more fun than an organised one. shall have hot dogs and soup for tea, proper bonfire night food :rotfl:
Inbetween that I will no doubt be playing referee between the kids <rollseyes>

Molly - sending vibes to Mooloo and her DGD xxxx

FW - well done on your promotion :T

esmf - glad Rory is now safely home

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.

    Morning all

been disturbed during the night with the beginings of a cold (snules and a cough/tight throat) so I intend to be gentle on myself today - lots of warm drinks, probably some HM soup and a day of lists! I have been avoiding Christmas as an expensive evil but i need to get some planning done and then I can get excited!

House is looking a bit neglected so if I can muster some energy I'll potter about.....if not I shall give the kids instructions :D I have some sweets are reward ;)

Thoughts go out to all those involved in that horrific crash and theor loved ones.... wonder if N9eav was involved in the aftermath?

Enjoy your day and give those closest an extra hug xx

    Morning All,

Thoughts and prayers to those involved in the horrific crash
Molly, positive healing vibes mooloo and dgd

Usual Saturday morning clean through here, don't have a lot of energy so may have a rest this afternoon.

Tonight off to our friends for fireworks and a curry (SW) though as she is also doing the SW diet. I feel much better after almost a week doing this. It seems to be really working for me but early days yet.

Christmas pressies seem to have ground to a halt as money has been very tight, need to get back on with that.

Aunti Flo is due so feeling lethargic but at least not stuffing my face which is what usually happens.

    Have a good Saturday all J x

    Morning

Hugs to mooloo and all who want one. My thoughts are with the families and those involved in the crash.

Gdad had a good night, a nurse came in and stayed with him over night. I slept well too.

Not sure the plan for today, will go with the flow.

    Hope everyone is well xxx

    Morning everyone,

Hugs to Bramble, Beth and Mooloo.

    Enjoy your night out Hester.

Farmer'swife, I live in Nottingham so I can't be far from you and we did seem to get a month's worth of rain yesterday.

We are having a couple of families round for fireworks and curry tonight so I have got to make a taarka dhal and a matter paneer (cheesy peas!).
OH made a couple of meat curries last night when he came in from the pub so I have no idea what they will taste like! I then need to tidy up a bit and then we will be ready. They are the sort of visitors who are round here all the time so the house doesn't need to be spotless.:o

OH has gone out on his bike and the kids are still asleep, the first week back at school after the holidays is always exhausting.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

I live by the river Trent and it is foggy here as well, not sure whether it has anything to do with all the fireworks that were going off last night or that it is all due to the rain.
