Malwarebytes won't open!

    ok, do the tdsskiller scan

    reboot, it should do a chkdsk

    note if it fixes anything

    then when it starts, run ccleaner, then try downloading and installing avast and malwarebytes from filehippo

    When I download file it won't open, nothing happens, this is in firefox.

    As much as you are kindly helping me, I'm sure if I was more computor savy, we would be there by now. even the simplest of instructions seem so dificult at the moment. I am grateful though, very,you and others on the tech board have helped me out now and in the past so much. I will give it a bit more of a try tonight then will have to try again tomorrow. Thank you very much.

    download in IE, save to your desktop, then run it.

    or alternatively carry on with the reboot/chkdsk and reinstall avast, malwarebytes and come back to tdsskiller later.

    I've tried that link in Ie, but it comes up page not found though on the .kaspersky site.

    Also I now cant open my emails, on MSN, can get MSN up but emails wont open, MSN opnes in firefox, should i unistall firefox?
