I feel your pain with the snoring. My DH does periodically. I usually get 'how can I be snoring when I'm not even asleep' :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

HI Pinot
Sorry to hear you are having a bad start to the week and finding money very tight. Can you take some money out of the F&F fund to cover for this month. Hope I am making sense. Don't beat yourself up."You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

Yes Ebay, I can but I soooo don't want to !! I know its silly isn't it ? I am trying to make myself pretend its not there and see if there is another resolution, although I know the sensible thing is to use the money .Thankyou of your suggestion !
I do have the emergency fund which will cover the Gas / Electricity and phone . We knew we would be really pushed this month,we've done well to get to the 27th all things considering. ( Maybe I should n't have hit the Haagen Dasz cafe in half term after all !!!) I think I will do a bit of juggling act. I can hold off the council tax until the 30th and it looks as though one of our clients may pay us tomorrow which will enable us to pay ourselves something. Just keeping my fingers crossed they are true to their word !! I do have some money from ebay stashed as well, but I was hanging onto that for DD1s birthday present so I REALLY don't want to use that either if I can help it. I am so protective of my little stashes of money :rotfl:
I actually feel amazingly calm whereas in the past I would have been a total quivering wreck !Not sure if thats a good or a bad thing though !

Hi Mrs PG..well done for keeping calm. That's really goOd and shows how, underneath it all, you are so in control. Well done.
As EBay Queen says do use the money you have (it's the buffer after all) so you can get by this month. And as you say, it's amazing you have got to 27th..well done for that too!
Will try and drop in later. Just making rice pudding in the SC now!!! You are a mine of culinary ideas hon!!:-)MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Good luck Mrs brizzled, next you will be trying my horrifically awful fish stew thingy from last week 1!:rotfl: Actually I wouldn't wish that on anyone. It was so awful that Mr Pinot disposed of it down the drain on the drive !! Let me know how the Rice pudding goes ! We are shaving the Japanese curry, I fancy sticky rice with it but I don't have any and I can't buy any ? Does anyone know if you can make sticky rice if you just overcook Basmati ?!!!
March will be fine , its just these last couple of days !! I am so calm, I think Mr Pinot thinks I have been on the Whacky Backy !!! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Oh it's all excitement this end
I've bought Mr BR a ring and will be asking him to marry me on Wednesday (even though we're already engaged, so he better say yes!) and I have a new batch of cakes in the oven.
However, mysteriously I haven't had a chance to hoover the house, odd that....:rotfl:Our LBM: Dec 2011. DMP started: Jan 2012. Debt at LBM: £41,568
