  • Nooooooo I must think positive! They will work........they have to work............:rotfl:

You mention the mouth guard BR ,which reminded me of own mouth guard experience recently. Mr Pinot urged me to see the dentist as I have been clenching my teeth due to stress over recent months, but as much as I feel ok it's got worse and worse. My mouth and teeth have been so painful. The dentist suggested a fetching mouth guard to help, to be worn at night or whenever I could feel myself clenching my jaw. When I collected it I decided to model it to dd2 and her best friend who was with me at the time, honestly thinking I looked my usual gorgeous self :wink::wink: Clearly by their reaction I looked absolutely ridiculous. I was so embarrassed to think only minutes earlier I had been holding a very serious conversation with my lovely young dentist wrongly thinking I looked perfectly normal ! I am so embarrassed to wear the blasted thing, I wait until mr Pinot is asleep before popping it in and set my alarm before his goes off , as the thought of him catching me wearing it fills me with dread !! Its so stupid as I know he wouldn't care less but one thing all this money malarkey has done to me has made my confidence disappear down the plug hole................and wearing the awful mouth guard does nothing to help !

It reminds me of the films where the woman leaps out of bed before her other half wakes so that he never sees her with a Make up free face!!!! In my case though it's a goof looking mouth guard.BR I'm not suggesting of course that mr BR looks anything less than utterly handsome in his of course ! :rotfl:
Anyway I have gone off on a tangent again, I am sure you will all sleep better for knowing my mouth guard story !! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Well, handsome is one word for it lol Neanderthal is another. The guard pulls his lower jaw forward to free up his airways (or something) but the look ins't good :rotfl: Bless 'im. He only got it to stop himself snoring for me

Smiling at the mouth guard stories. I am such a restless sleeper am sure I wouldn't be able to keep one in so best of British to you all :)

Managed home made bread again, well, via bread maker, more pleased with results this time. Have oxtail to do in slow cooker tomorrow. Determined to have a real push on home made food this year.

Watching rugby later at a pals, will take some baking as my contribution.

All in all a very MSE weekend, woop woop.

Hope you have a great one and the MBNA check is still keeping you on a high.

    Morning All,

Well it feels like a camping morning today, the sun is shining, its pretty warm. I could just envisage us all sitting in a field cooking a lovely swiss brekkie on the open fire washed down with copious amounts of coffee !! Instead I amrushing around like a loony stressing at the mess in the house !:rotfl:

I will reply to all of your previous messages later if thats ok, but just quick question .

Have any of you had any success selling children's clothes on ebay ? I have a couple of coats Im am planning to list , but things like tshirts, jeans etc. Is it best to list these items individually or as a bag of bits,i.e. Next t shirts aged 7 - 8, etc . I'm unsure what to do. I am only planning on listing the really nice barely worn things, the rest will go in the Cash 4 clothes sack.

Any advice would be appreciated. EBay Queen, do I assume this is your area of expertise ?!!! ;)

  • I hope you find something to ease the snoring to make it more bearable for you. :)

You tell me to have some rest time. What are you up to - rushing around and trying to clean the house.

Take it easy. It's the week-end after all.

  • When i list items on ebay i generally tend to look and see what sort of things are on their first. I list t-shirts in bundles.....but anything else i'll have a nosey first see what is getting bids and what isn't and go from there. I've sold lots of DD's little skirts & dresses (second hand to me already!) on ebay and having sold them seperately i've made more back than what i purchased them for lol. Some things don't go well though. I put some of DS1 rugby boots on hardly worn, cost a fortune but he'd had a growth spurt (how very dare he lol) and i got 3.99 :( !!!!!! Suppose it's better than 99p though lol! Sorry i haven't really answered your question at all :rotfl::rotfl: just thought i'd throw that in there anyway:D

Thankyou !! I havent made it to the well know chemist yet today ! Maybe that will be on tomorrows agenda !

DS1 had music concert rehearsals 12 -6 pm today, DS2 had a party 2 - 6pm in the completely opposite direction, suddenly realised that as much as I can try I really can't be picking them both up from two different towns at the same time !! Eventually managed to enlist a willing mummy to help me out, thankfully. House is halfed cleaned so far !:( Not tackled bathrooms or ironing or even thought about dinner yet. Maybe the Cooking fairies will magically appear this evening ! :o
