Pinot that is amazing....well done to you. :):):):):):):) that was a quick refund !!!!

You were talking about yesterday being Ash Wednesday and it is 'Fast day' which is I'm sure you know eating no meat and just breakfast lunch and Dinner.

Youngest son 6ft baby I call him really found it very difficult this year. He usually comes home and grazes:):) until bedtime. He went to bed starving at 11 and I told him to get up after 12 and eat something, which he vowed to do. :):):) He fell asleep and wasn't overly hungry this morning!!!! Then I gave him a lecture 'think of all the kids who go to bed every night hungry'.

There are only 2 Fast days in the year and Good Friday is the next, so its not that much to do really. Makes you realise how much food we really eat and we don't need it. Well I don't anyways!!!!

Wow PG..well it was a fast turnaround from the gloom of about 10:30am to the MBNA post at lunchtime!! Great stuff. Brilliant news!!

EbayQueen - yes its a good idea to have days when you don't just stuff yourself with food. (I should do more of it!) PG - Pancake Day is Shrove Tuesday - using up all the eggs, diary etc before the Lent fast starts on Ash Wednesday... its based on the church calendar so moves about..I usually get caught out too!!

  • Hello Mrs P,

Just caught up on your diary, thanks for popping in on mine :)

Sorry dinner the other night was rank, I hope you've managed to get rid of the fishy smell now lol.

Fantastic news about the refund, your signature is looking great.

Glad DD didn't mind about you not going to hear her sing, what a nice thing for her to say.

Off to get my DD from Rainbows in a minute.xx

Oh wow, congratulations!! Your sig is looking SO SO good now! That must be a real lift to the spirits. :):):D

Pain about the parking fine, keep fighting it. I got one a few months ago, fought it and eventually won. I get a parking permit through work, but when my new road tax disc came Mr Happy (see how it's his fault again?!) accidentally put it in my parking permit holder rather than in the tax disc holder. So I was displaying two tax discs (one out of date) but no permit, and I just didn't notice. Even though all their paperwork showed that I had a valid, paid-for permit and it was obvious what had happened, they still insisted on fining me. It took three months and a letter to the Chief Exec, but I eventually won, so persevere.

  • Well, you certainly kept us in suspense about the outcome of last night's dinner.

Sorry it didn't work out too well. Do you hate your cat then? Nobody liked it so try and feed it to the cat. :rotfl:
