Wow, you have been busy. Sorry to hear you were stressed about money, but don't forget the buffer is there for that very reason *hugs*

I find when OH snores that a quick slap in the face with the back of my hand works and as he's asleep he's none the wiser wohahahah. Well he wasn't until I shared the tip with a friend in front of him hehehe although he teeth grinds, not snores

Ooh also, I heard that when bread looks a little green then it's actually all green and shouldn't be touched eep!

  • So pleased to hear Mr PG is on his way home. Good luck on the sleeping front tonight.

I've started putting our cereal in container so I can see when they're empty as our boys always put the empty boxes back in the cupboard too. :( Although have to be honest, it's not just cereal boxes that go back in empty it's all boxes and empty wrappers.

  • bonnington - Can you believe I forgot to buy the bread after all ?! I'm sure there must be some more hiding in the cupboard ,on the turn ,waiting to be fed to the unsuspecting hordes !:rotfl:

I have just found snorezee online, thank you :D

Kerri - Thanks for the top snoring tip, I have a habit of blurting things out in front of Mr Pinot that I really should shave kept to myself ! :D Actually many years ago I managed to put my dads car in a ditch while giving a friend driving lessons that I really shouldn't have been doing. Managed to flag down a passing Gas Van and a Doctor ( We didn't need a Doctor but he happened to be passing !!) who towed us out, zipped home polished the car with furniture polish and all was good. Until 20 years later after one too many, I relayed the story to him and many others, totally forgetting that I had never owned up in the first place !!!

My bread wasn't green all the way through I promise ,only slightly dodgy around the edges !!!

Ha Ha !! I was soo tempted to put the pillow on his head and leave it there
forever last night :rotfl: The worst thing was when I woke him up to tell him to shut up and
stop snoring, he answered rather indignantly, who's snoring ?? Was it me ?? How
many other people did he think were in the bedroom with us ?!!!:rotfl:
    :rotfl:
Mr Banwa does the same thing! In fact he says indignantly 'I'm not even asleep' as if I am quite mad, which, in the middle of the night, seems quite plausible
Yep I'm sure you are right maybe he was playing it cool about MBNA, but I have a
sneaky suspicion he is having his man period at the moment !;)

    Congrats on the MBMA:T
Sorry your dishwasher is still totally dead and buried,. We still haven't had a
chance to actually look at ours yet, so it is just sitting redundant in the
kitchen . I think I am going to have to draw up a washing up rota though and
soon. I can't believe how much moaning I have done these past few weeks about
the washing up ! I am obviously far too spoilt.

Ha ha you should read my diary when my dishwasher was broken. I moaned for pages and pages and pages and pages.

Is this broken sleep lark catching? I was awake from 2am until DS1 went out at 7 then I fell asleep. DH only snorred part of it so I can't really blame him.

Sorry you had a difficult end to the month. You encouraged me to try reclaiming PPI and LLoydstsb said we are have correct circumstances for a refund.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

    Hello all,

Thankyou for your messages yesterday ! As you have now read all was peaceful in the Pinot Residence last night , by the looks of it I am not alone, so wishing you all the best of luck with your snoring OH and DH"s. Best you all form an orderly queue at the Chemist for the Snoring Strips asap !!

Great to see you again Dedicated DFW ( what can we call you for short? ) No my Dad didn't tell me off thankfully, I think he was far to shocked and stunned to even think about telling me off. There was a lot more to that story , involving tractors, the farmers wife and the like but I won't go into that one now !!! My poor Dad ........ and he always thought I was such a good girl !!!:rotfl:

Alice - My parents always told me the Pencillin story as well, lets go with that shall me rather than the thought of me feeding my family all sorts of rubbish !

BANWA - Lovely to see you too. I must have somehow missed your dishwasher posts in your diary, I will go back over it and re read ! Its seriously driving me bonkers now, but I don't want to hassle Mr Pinot, Im sure he will get around to it when he has a moment !

Ok, well today is School Allocation Day. DD2 hasn't received an allocation at either of the Grammar Schools, but at the local comp. We were very chilled about the whole thing, as DD1 is there and doing brilliantly. It will be interesting though to actually get her results which should come through later today. It has been said that many more private school children have sat for the Grammar Schools this year due to the recession and making places even harder to come by. As far as I know 760 children sat for just 140 places at DD2s first choice. I have only heard of one child that has actually been allocated a place so far this morning, and she is privately educated and only scraped into her third choice of grammar school. Anyway we are happy and so is DD2 which is what counts in the end. :D

Last night we collected the girls glasses of which they are both very proud and looking super intelligent now ! They couldn't wait to show them off today, but we are now £191 lighter !

Hoping for NSD today but have remembered I have no wrapping paper for DD2s pressies or birthday cards for her, so I need to get that sorted out. Tomorrow I need to get some food and goodies in and wait with bated breath to be descended on by all of her friends  Best I stock up on that Pinot as well , to get me through the night !

Paid another £70 off of the tax bill today and taxed my car for 6 months only. Signature updated so is still is reducing slowly !:)

Thats todays update, nothing too exciting to report. Not going to have a chance to catch up on other diaries today I don't think, so apologies to everyone. :)

Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine !
