Hope you manage to find it after a good night's sleep. Missing brain seems to be catching at the moment. The reason I'm still awake is, having taken my pain killers at 11pm, I'm still in pain. The reason? Instead of my pain killers, I've somehow managed to take tomorrow morning's antibiotic instead. Luckily a double dose won't harm, unlike if I'd done it the other way round. Off to bed now, having taken the correct tablet now.
try retracing your steps in the morning, it'll turn up I'm sure
Hope DD is feeling more herself soon
Thanks for the tip re MBN^, I'll give that a go

Oh Granny, that was silly taking the wrong medication last night, you must be exhausted.
I followed you advice and retraced my steps and this morning found the Polaroid Film on the desk in the office, I had obviously opened the post and wandered back in the office whilst on the phone with it in my hand ! I gave it to DD1 before school, she is thrilled and cant wait to give it a try tonight. I just hope the camera works as it is soooooo old.
DD1 is really struggling with the death of her Grandad. She also missed alot of school after he died as she wasnt coping and was pretty poorly. She is now very behind with her coursework. She has the lead role in the school play which thankfully is next week but has meant loads of rehearsals, leaving her no time after school to catch up on her schoolwork. We thought about pulling her out of the role but she was so proud to be given the part . She was offered it while Dad was in hospital. I did tell him , I like to think he heard me and he wouldn't have wanted her to pull out. He was so proud of them both and came to every single performance they have ever done. It will be strange for them that he wont be there ( DD2 has managed to bag herself 4 roles in the show as well !!) Once the show is over I am hoping DD1will feel better and have more time to catch up as she is exhausted and very stressed. The school have now involved Pastoral Care ( took alot of jumping up and down on our part) as the teachers were giving her a really hard time and shouting at her and telling her she wasn't prioritising her subjects when she physically couldn't fit in anymore school work, she is there till 6 pm every night. She does now have a timetable in place to begin to catch up so I am hopeful things will improve.
I know she will be fine and do well, its just so sad to see her so pale and quiet and upset, as she is usually so bubbly and upbeat. Its like I have a different child living with me at the moment, but we will get there I'm sure. Oops sorry that big long story just popped out.xxx

Hugs to DD and you and of course the rest of your family. Bereavement of a loved one is hard on anyone, but doubly hard on a teenager with all those hormones to deal with. My heart goes out to her and you for the worry.
With your kind loving support, she'll get through it. I'm glad she stayed in the role, at times like this some fun is so much more important than anything else.
Glad you found the film and were able to put a smile on her face before school, must have brightened up your day too. I've got my fingers crossed re the camera
Hope you have a good day
I slept until 9am, once I'd managed to nod off

Thankyou Granny and Be Lucky, you are very lovely.
Things are pretty Carp, I don't / cant write the half of what is going on here on the diary.
I did go into complete meltdown this morning though, thankfully for once Mr PG was here and fed me coffee and jam doughnuts and talked some sense into me .
On another note, having just updated the signature it appears my update last month was well and truly incorrect.
I have double double checked this and it appears that in the two years since we had our LBM in NOvember 2011, we have pretty much cleared or had written off (fingers crossed, can never be too sure on that one !) half the debt:D Thats gotta be worth smiling about.
I am reaching the 5000 posts on this diary and am thinking with these new magical figures I could be nearing the time to begin a new diary.
I have no idea what to call it ?!! Any suggestions please ? xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Fantastic achievement Mrs P
I know sometimes it's not much solace, but it's the hard times that make the good times that little bit more enjoyable. I saw a rainbow yesterday and it put the biggest smile on my face, but without the big splodgy and cold rain it wouldn't have happened.
Hope things get easier for you all soon xxxDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I hope the camera works and it gives her some joy after all that has happened recently. She must be feeling very stressed with GCSE's looming, grief & the play. (((hugs))) to all of you!
