I've just finished reading your diary from the very start and you leave me speechless with admiration. From the jollity of climbing over gates in jamas to lime green mankinis (tho' those 2 events coinciding would be worth filming...), from reclaiming unfair charges to clients playing silly bu99ers with you, from joyful accounts of your proud mummy moments to hospital visits. There have been times when I could hardly bear to keep reading, I have sniggered at the Tena ladies and loved Grannyx3's pictures, I have cried at how you have been treated. And yet you hold your head up high and you always give more than you can afford (time, energy, food as well as money).
You are one truly amazing role model and an inspiration.
Please keep adding to your diary when you can. You will make it to the end of your long and winding journey to debt freedom.
Applemuncher how lovely to see you.
Thankyou so so much for your lovely post, it brought a tear to my eye ( I am having a moment this morning !) I feel very embarrassed at all of the lovely things you have said, I am just doing what I Can when I can really as we have to keep on plodding don't we ? My girls deserve so much more than a constantly stressed out Mum and Dad. We have had some fun and crazy antics along the way. Things are much more serious at the moment in the PG Household but we will hopefully get back on top form soon.
I dont write or read as often as I did or should at the moment. I need more hours in the day right now, but please don't disappear. Its always lovely to have another friend joining our bumpy journey !
Your name made me giggle. When I was pregnant with DD1 I craved Apples constantly and drove everyone mad with my constant crunching. I would only eat Granny Smiths . Put me off for life though, not touched an apple in 15 years !! :rotfl:

We knew it had a leak , we werent sure where it was coming from though, but sitting outside in the rain and damp without being started for all these weeks while we fought over the cost hasent helped. Its home now, tipped on its side on makeshift ramps to let the water drip out, covered in tarpaulin with a heater pumping into it in an effort to dry it out !! I dread to think what thats doing to our fuel bill, but one things for sure, my horrible neighbour Mr 3Jags will be knocking on my door soon , as this this time I really am "lowering the tone of the neighbourhood" !!
Once the car has dried out, Mr PG will investigate how to take the sun roof off, its one of those huge panoramic ones, so should be fun . Hopefully he can fix it and get rid of the thing for scrap or whatever anyone wants it for. I will get the rubber gloves on and get scrubbing inside once its dried out and see if I can improve upon the mouldy look ! :rotfl:

Oh no that sounds awfulCan you not try selling it anyway as people with the "know-how" are always looking for cars to do up and sell on so you may re-coup all your money spent on it then? You won't get anything for scrap so don't do that! Get the bleach on it (well depending on what is inside? Is it leather? ) and that will eliminate smells and stop the mould spreading. I really feel for you and as for the neighbours tell them to F**k off and mind their own business. They will be so stunned you used language like that in their neghbourhood they may do just as you said :rotfl:

I forgot to mention on the diary that on Saturday morning I discovered all the mystery company was that had so kindly donated rather alot of funds into my account.
It was a member of the family, but sadly it was in error. They hadnt even realised it had happened, but the Finance Department of the Company they run had meant to pay a company with a similar sounding name to ours , and paid us in error instead. Nobody had noticed but us !!
It has been swiftly sent back to them this morning. :rotfl:

Hi PG can you put the car on ebay. DS1 wrote his car off and we got £170 for it.
L
Yes L thats the plan. We put it on ebay with a starting price of £800 back in August and it sold for £2K that was without the £1K of work being done on it, that we have just been in battle over. Problem was it broke down the day it sold and there is no way I could have sold it to someone after discovering the fault , so we decided to fix it.
It is drying out nicely now, I have googled various mould removing products so I will accesorise myself with some fetching rubber gloves and get scrubbing over the next couple of days. Mr PG isnt leaving for work until 11am for the next three days, so he is intending trying to sort the leaky roof, then we will hopefully be back on track to pop it back up on ebay. If we still get £2K for it despite the work I will be happy as I can clear the arrears on the mortgage, but if we get it looking nice and clean and without the leak and now five new injectors it should ( fingers crossed) sell for more.
Well thats the grand plan anyway !! :cool:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
