Hi pinot, I have just been reading your diary and I am really impressed how far you have come since you began. I started mine two years ago and then lost my focus but reading yours has spurred me on to make changes.
Bicarb is good at getting rid of smells. I would wipe down surfaces with a solution of bicarbonate of soda. I scatter it on carpets too, leave for an hour or even overnight then vacuum off.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Well the kitchen is covered in onions and I will scrub down with the bicarbonate of soda later , I have some in the baking cupboard I think !! Thankyou for your suggestions ! I have washed everywhere, but we have no door on the kitchen and the smell literally wafted through the whole house. I have washed my hair twice but can still smell the smoke in my hair and when sitting in the car today I could smell it on my coat ! Cant believe she dared ask to make popcorn again when she came in from school this afternoon !! :eek:Give it a few days and I'm sure the smell will be gone and there will be another drama in its place !!:rotfl:
Poohbear, hello there how are you ? I'm pleased my long and rambling diary has spurred you on, I would think my signature was enough to terrify anyone into getting a spurt of action on to be honest ! Good to see you, don't forget to keep on dropping by !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hi Mrs PG,
Have managed to find your diary and have subscribed. Have just read through to the end and love the way there is so much humour in it from you and the others posters. The amount of support is just brilliant.
Time for me to go and make tea for the 4 of us (DH, DS and DD). Chicken ratatouille pasta bake - very MSE with garlic bread already in the freezer. A NSD for me so far but need milk and bread so will turn into a LSD.
Your comments about your DDs make me laugh. My DD is in Y7 and there are so many similarities.
Take care and I think the progress you have made in less than 4 months is staggering!!Number of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0 -
Hello Shelski, I'm glad you found me, did you manage to sort out your diary ?
The lovely posters on here really make me giggle, even on my grumpiest most moaniest of days ! Is moaniest even a word ? !
Your dinner sounds lovely, you are far more organised than me today, I have got distracted on here instead . Its so easy done !Oops !
I'm sure we could swap lots of stories on our lovely DD's !! hope to see you here again soon !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I have used Bicarb in cooking, getting rid of smells from the rabbit wee (lovely !) and in the bath when the girls had chicken pox !
Is apple cider vinegar good for the hair then ? I weaned myself off of the pricey shampoos and conditioners years ago and to be honest it doesn't look any worse for it really. With three of us with long hair int he house we get through mountains of the stuff though. Mr Pinot did bring me home some lovely samples from a hotel bathroom recently though, I felt very spoilt ! I do yearn for some Molton Brown body wash though, I haven't had any for yearsLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
