Oh no, smoothie on white walls and cream carpets.... And on you too of course, but you're easier to clean - or would be if you could have mastered showering :D. Did it come off OK?

The rest of the day sounds to be going well though, all those jobs done before 10 and some money in too. Yay!

    Enjoy the day x

Hee Hee !! Yes I should have been the easiest to clean but obviously in need of a few lessons ! Maybe I should research evening classes on showering techniques !:D The walls have a lovely red stain splattered up them and nice red splodges on the carpet.

I will text Mr Pinot and let him know I will be meeting him at the station tonight with a little treat in store ! A scrubbing brush and a bottle of vanish carpet cleaner ........... possibly not quite what he will have in mind !!!;)

Hi Pinot - sorry neglecting everyone the last few days (again) so have just caught up with you - firstly sorry for your loss - big hug xxx - secondly a big on the jumper situation (Im going to talk about clothes over on my diary when I get a minute to update as I feel like a waffle about this subject anyway!) - I noticed an email from George @ Asda telling me that they had 25%(?) off woolies at the moment - I have brought a few things from them and they are ok - their prices are very reasonable anyway (but some might say you get what you pay for) - I promise Im not trying to tempt you into spending money ;););)

Keep smiling - you are doing so well xx

I hope Mr P enjoys his "clean" fun tonight reminded me of the coffee advert about the man saying "we have about half an hour" and the wife says yes you get the ladder Ill get the filler!:rotfl:- I hope you were not hurt when you fell - trust the girls to laugh xx

PS Now come on over use of toilitries thats not very Money Saving is it tee hee xx

  • Dropping by really quickly with a pretty boring post. Having a very busy week so its only quick.

    Couple of updates -

Been paid some more money owed ! Paid another £135.00 off of the tax bill - signature updated AGAIN !!

MBNA have posted me a cheque re credit card charges reclaim, even though I have declined their offer and asked them to take another look. I am assuming the letters crossed in the post, so I will hold fire on cashing that one for now.

Sold some more books - so thats a little bit of extra in the emergency pot

Dishwasher still not fixed, Mr Pinot not been around much and is away now for a couple of days , so I am still washing up !

Finally chosen DD1's options, it was so difficult. She is unable to take her preferred choices so we are currently in the process of pleading to the school and we will see what happens next, if not she may need to take her second choice of subjects.

At long last we have listed some furniture on ebay, its only taken a month, I think the listing is due to end next Saturday .

Thats it for now, not made payments to the predators yet this month, but will aim to do that later today. Off to the post office now to post books to their new owners .
Hope everyones week has gone well x

    Hi

Just back checking through a few diaries...really do push about the options..think it's so important that they do stuff they want/ should do rather than for time tabling purposes or whatever getting pushed into second choices. It's so young to be making big decisions anyway it's all the more important that it's the right options for her..

    Have a great weekend

  • We've just got through a similar thing at school with DS1 and options. In the end we were able to get his first choices. I think it's important that they do, particularly if they have a special interest. For us DS1 wants to be an astronomer and they were trying to take away science... so wasn't happening. :D Also, I believe it would act as a demotivator if they are not happy with their subject choice. I hope you manage to get it sorted.

Hi, just popped by for a catch-up and to congratulate you on yet more debt reduction. That must be a real lift psychologically. Mr Happy and I both get paid on the same day each month, so our debts just stay static for a full month inbetween. Ebay would help with that I suppose if I could only get off my bum and sort it!

    Have a good weekend x

  • Good luck with getting DD1s options sorted. I think its tricky enough keeping them motivated at school as it is. xx

Well done on more debt busting - I must get spurt on with ebay as I have a pile building - hope yours does well

Its a bit naughty (again of the bank to send money before waiting for you to acknowledge it!) - is this normal way they deal with it or is it a cunning way to get you to accept less??? - am interested as eventually once Money Advisor sorts other problems out we will be doing the same (although it seems a mile away yet before we do anything)

Anyway a big :T:T:T for you on your achievements and positivity x
