Exactly the same thing happened to my mum! She posted a friends birthday card and stuck a tiny ( and i mean i need my glasses to read it) sticky label with her address on the back of the envelope....yes they sent it to that address ie back to her the next morning. :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope Dad is feeling better Pinot and that you all enjoyed the movie.
HH you are doing so well:T:T:T
The mystery of the special delivery letter was resolved yesterday ! Somehow the special delivery sticker had been peeled off ( the bit with the codes on it ) so they had decided to deliver straight back to me instead. Well thats their story anyway, I am convinced ,as you said above Louby Lou that they actually adressed it to me in the first place ! They did send it again free of charge yesterday , I wonder if I will get it back again this morning !:D
My Dad appears a little better. Thankyou for asking ! x:)
Hope you are doing ok ?LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Why don't you treat yourself to a 'new to you' jumper, either from ebay or a charity shop! You'd be surprised at what you can get in them if you've never shopped in one beforethat way it's a low spend and still you've had the pleasure of shopping

I buy ebay bits for the girls and Mr Pinot treated me to a lvoely Burberry Jacket from ebay a few months ago, so I may take a look, although I know I really shouldnt as the girls birthdays are fast approaching so I should save the money for something for them instead ! I'm not exactly hard done by, think I should just give myself a short sharp slap and snap out of it and wear whats in the wardrobe !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hi Pinot
Sorry to hear about your close family member passing away. I think the time of year makes things much harder to cope with as well.
I am fed up today too - I still have my cold, I think this has to be a record, it has got a little better, got a lot worse, got a little better and got worse again for the whole of January - I would like to see some of 2012 feeling fit and well and healthy  rant overJust keep swimming!0 -
Ok this morning black and rather grumpy mood has lifted thank goodness and I am smiling broadly ish now !:D
Spent the morning with a lovely friend who is having difficulties both personally and financially, to be honest it puts all my little problems into a tiny little corner to be ignored in comparison. Managed to do some hoovering, lots of work, sort out various hospital appointment dates for DD1 and Mr Pinot and argue with solicitors over ongoing issues, but thats a story for another time I feel !
Just back, cold wet and muddy from yet another cross country with DD2, she came 3rd !! Whooppeeee !!:jThinking that was it now for the season, she opened her school bag to provide me with letters for two more !:( The enthusiasm is waning a little now ! Despite having made Pea and Pesto Soup to warm us all up, I was very bad and detoured to Maccy D's to buy them a meal each and ordered myself a large bag of fries as well ! I know I shouldnt when there is cooked food at home, but we were all shivery and wet , we will eat the Soup for supper and lunch tomorrow I promise !!! Stupidly though I didnt check the bag until we were home in the kitchen and they hadnt put my fries in. I felt so disappointed, let alone its a waste of ........however much a bag of fries cost.:o So not only did I fall off the wagon, I didnt even get my treat ?! On the journey home a warning light came up on the dashboard, some sort of fault with the airbag. It is a bit of a common warning light with my car and sometimes comes and goes, but we spent fortunes on that particular problem last year and I dont want to spend anymore on the same thing:mad: I will ignore it for now in the hope it will go away as it sometimes does, it may not even come on in the morning when I go out, such is the irregularity of the blasted thing ! Ho Hum !!
So,thats it, I am home now and thawing out after stealing the girls chips when they werent looking. Not much homework apparently , so I am looking forward to getting into my pjs and chilling out a little. I could do more work tonight, there is always loads to do, but I have decided that I am on strike this evening !!!
Oh.....before I go , I updated my spreadsheets for the month and we have £200 left !!! I am so pleased. Will aim to do better next month although it is going to be a tough one as not much money due in. Paid another £70 to the tax man and updated my signature.....again !!! I cant resist, even if its only pennies !
Have a good evening everyone !! xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Good to see you ITSA, your cold seems to be lasting forever . Think mine is back in full force again now, cant seem to make its mind up whether to stay or go. As its nearly February and miserable January is nearly over , I am trying to convince myself that things will start to improve, we will all feel better and less fed up ...... ...... oh today is February ! Bring it on !!! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Happy February to you all !
Despite my feeling earlier that Feb wil be good , I really should have kept my big mouth shut and stayed in bed after all !
Walking up the stairs this morning with two smoothies for the girls and a coffee for me, I managed to trip up the top step of the stairs sending the mixed berry smoothies flying high into the air, all over the white walls, skirting, cream carpets and me ! :rotfl:After picking themselves up off of the floor with laughter the girls gave me a good telling off for wandering up the stairs in my FUGGS (fake Uggs) , as I do have a tendency to trip over when I wear them . In an attempt to clean myself of smoothie, I then stupidly put shampoo in my hair in the shower and then forgetting I had done it for some reason tipped a shed load of shower gel on my head instead of my body ! That combined with the shampoo threatened to take over the whole shower cubicle with bubbles ! I thought I would never escape ! It really should teach me to concentrate on the job in hand and not let my mind wander off onto other things !!;)
Starting the morning afresh , I have tonights dinner in the slow cooker, cleaned the kitchen, put a wash load on and managed to squish a few hours work into the bargain ! We have been paid a little bit of the money due in for February, so I will pay that into the grocery fund for Feb and pay most of the creditors today hopefully as well, then I can update my signature again !!:j
The animals have run out of food and hay ( why dont they understand we are on a budget ?!:D) so I will need to buy that today and DD1 is desperate for school shirts, so, as the sun is shining I will go for a bit of an airing today and take my mum with me I think and buy those few bits. DD2 informed me today that her running top is far too small and it is taking three of them in class to squish her into it, so maybe I will have to give in and get her a new one
So thats todays update for now, have a good day xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Oh no, smoothie on white walls and cream carpets.... And on you too of course, but you're easier to clean - or would be if you could have mastered showering
. Did it come off OK?
The rest of the day sounds to be going well though, all those jobs done before 10 and some money in too. Yay!
Enjoy the day xLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!
