Hi Pinot, just popping into your diary to say hello and thank you for the encouragement and to say :j:jcongratulations:j:j on the contract!!!
  • Morning all,

Hope all you poorly people out there feel better soon :(.

Well got lots done yesterday, had a sneeky peek at the paperwork from Natwest, goodness me theres lots of it ! Im not impressed though that they say they cant find any of the agreements for any of the loans we have ever had with them ! Hmm !! Somethings not quite ringing true here. I can recall about 4 loans over the years, one of which is still running. I honestly cant believe they cant find anything, as they were able to provide a list of when the loans were taken out and for how much.I am absolutely convinced one of them had PPI despite them knowing we were self employed at the time. Has anyone any thoughts on this ? Is it really likely they dont have this information still ?

On another note, DD1 made a lovely pasta thingy at school yesterday for an assesment which she brought home, as I was feeling sorry for myself and didnt much fancy cooking, I raided the cupboard, and added to it and served it up for dinner. There wasnt quite enough so we were all on slight rations, but it done the job. I was slightly worried that Mr Pinot would go very hungry but he seemed happy enough. As I said to HAppy Now earlier when we were discussing food, he would be happy with a tin of baked beans, or beans mixed with sweetcorn, commonly known as Cowboy Beans in the Pinot Household ! Thats always our quick fix supper ! Served with a nice chunk of bread. Talking of which, brizzled, I will get that bread maker out today and give it a clean up !

We watched DIY SOS last night, just happened to switch the TV on. Well, if I was even considering feeling sorry for myself at the moment, it well and truly snapped me right out of it. I was in absolute pieces watching how the lady and her Autistic son were living, and then his wonderful reaction to what the DIY team had done to their home, and how pleased with the little things he was, blinds at the windows, a door on the lounge for example. She seemed such a lovely mum as well. We are so so lucky in comparison, regardless of everything, although I know that anyway and am always telling the chldren so it really brought it home to me ! Mr Pinot and DD2 were both watching with tears in their eyes, then when it had finished I called DD1 down from her room, rewound it and then made her sit and watch it as well...........just to remind them all how very very lucky they are, incase they ever have any doubts ! Think they thought I was maybe going slightly stir crazy, but hey ho whats new !! ( I did post this on F1s diary earlier, but felt I needed to put it on here as well, so apologies if you've read the same ramblings twice !) )

Anyway plan for today as always is work, washing, drying and unfortunately DD2 is running this afternoon for the school, I am so not looking forward to standing , yet again in a cold wet, muddy field and cheering her on. Bad Mummy !:p I am praying for a call to say its cancelled because of the weather, but its not arrived yet ,despite me willing the phone to ring ! ( Hey thats a turn up for the books, not long ago I was positively terrified of the phone ringing !) :rotfl:

Ok Im going now as I have so much to do and could honestly ramble away for ever x

  • Hi Pinot.

    Hope you're well.

I have been reading your posts about the free cinema tickets. You seem to have a busy time. You seem to be here, there any everywhere.

Maybe you should take it a bit easier and have some 'me' time. :)

Glad to hear about the contract and that it should last a few months.
Also great news that you are paying HMRC more than the agreed payment.

You're doing really well and an inspiration. :D

Thankyou for your lovely post bonnington. I havent forgotten you either, I have been reading but not posting .......but I will !:o

I do find it very difficult to sit still and relax for long. If I do, my brain starts running away with me and then I start worrying, so I keep myself very very busy. Actually its not hard with the business, girls etc ! I do everything at 100 miles an hour, you can probably tell by my typing ! The cinema was lovely and was me time really and it was lovely to spend the evening with DD1.Ive been keeping my eyes peeled for more, think theres a chance of The Muppets which I think DD2 will love if I can get hold of any !
