  • Morning Pinot

Yay signature update and in the right direction!

I put into google - tips on how to get rid of popcorn smell - there are loads of threads! Coffee seems to come out well from it.

    Good luck.

    HHx
  • Thankyou both of you ! Microwave is duly sitting looking rather sorry for itself in the snow outside but the smell still lingers on !! I have been lighting candles, burners and spraying air freshener since last night but it won't shift ! She really did a good job with this one I can tell you ! HH I will get googling, do I drink the coffee or am I supposed to brew ( its not called brewing is it when its coffee ?) posh coffee to get rid of the smell. There is no longer posh coffee in the Pinot Residence , only Asda Gold !!

DFW, I keep meaning to say to you I am sooo glad hubby is home. I will post some rambles on your diary later !

Am now rushing off to google burnt popcorn !

I really like Asda gold :)

I would recommend onions cut in half, they are ideal for removing paint fumes, so I would give it a go.

    Glad your hubby home :)

  • I like Asda Gold as well, I'm not really a posh coffee sort of girl !

I will give the onions a try, need to nip out and buy some though ! Who would have thought popcorn could cause so much chaos !

Just had a call from DD2s school advising me that her Athletics Tournament had been cancelled this evening due to the weather ! What athletics tournament ? :o What a bad mummy, I had completely forgotten all about it . Oops !!!

Hi Pinot, congrats on the signature update :) I know it might sound obvious, but have you tried washing the walls and cupboards? This might get rid of any smoke residue. Bicarb works well for fridge smells, so that might help maybe?
