Well I'm still looking into where I can get it from cheap, but from what I've seen it does the same as conditioner. I shall do it and report back

Ok now for my proper update on the missing days where I went AWOL over the weekend ! It was just soo hectic again, I have refused to do anything this weekend coming ,but somehow cant see myself sticking to it ! The houseful of girls Fri was interesting to say the least especially when one little delight hacked into DD1's facebook account and starting contacting all and sundry with some very choice remarks and littered her wall with the same such delightful status's and posts. Have had similar problems in the past with the same girl and this was the "ok lets move onwards and upwards and live and learn etc etc and welcome back into our home " Fri night invitation. Hmmm how I wish I hadnt agreed to that one. After getting shot of her the following morning and DD1 getting a flea in her ear for leaving her account open to such things and one hell of a shock when I showed her what had had actually been written on her account while she was busy editing photos , she then had the job of apologising to everyone who had received these lovely posts the previous night with an explanantion. Needless to say it has unfortunately spilled over into school and now the name calling has started. Thankfully, DD1 is a tough old cookie and wont stand for any nonsense , but she does know right from wrong and is appalled by this girls behaviour !
Mr Pinot made is way home late on Sat night through the snow, in my ancient 4 x4, cost a fortune in fuel but I was happier he was making the journey in the big old beast. Thankfully he did as the orads were obviously awful and when he arrived home at 5am Sunday morning, he was pleased as punch with himself as he had made 10 rescues during his 6 hour journey and even towed a few people right to their doors ! What a good Samaritan, although we didnt hear the last of it on Sunday !
Had a lovely time sledging with the girls and I felt quite the domestic goddess knocking up batches of soup, nice big roast dinners and doing a spot of baking with DD2 as well ! I even had a chance to have a google on ebay as way back in my diary HH suggested lookign on there for bags of herbs etc and as the cupboards are looking bare in the herby&spicy dept I had a little look. I really need to concentrate properly though and compare the prices and decide how good a deal they actually are ! Oh and I had 2 NSD as well over the weekend !
So back to another week, nothing too much to report so far really., other than the earlier post re the microwave. Not to concerned about that as its only ever used for ready break, warming beans and the popcorn, so I dont think its a massive loss (still annoying though) It has left me a nice gap on the counter for someone to fill with their toot no doubt !. Mr Pinot still hasnt had time to look at the dishwasher. 15 lots of washing up were done on Saturday with my own now very cracked and sore hands while DD2 and friends had a mammoth baking session with the cake pop maker !I really need to learn to delegate ! Mr Pinots car still has a cracked windscreen and today I realised I have a headlight out on my car. Today seems to have been a bad day for cars judging from other posts I have read !
On the plus side, have bagsied some Free tickets for a couple of movies, Titanic 3d on Valentines day, although Im not sure who I will take as Mr Pinot working until late ! Hmm maybe the postman, he has brought me good news recently, maybe he dserves a treat ! Also The Best Exotic MArigold Hotel or something along those lines. I will take my mum to that one .
Oh and today I treated myself to two new cardis from George after my little tantrum last week about the lack of cosy jumpers in my wardrobe. So thankyou to F1 ( I think it was or was it Louby Lou) for the top George tip. When DD1 came home this evening she said how much she loved my new Hollister Jumper !!;)
I have been very inventive these last few days, used up Saturday chicken to make Soup and this evening the leftover Sunday roasty was used to make Nigellas Sunday Night Chicken Noodle ( on a Tues!) for the girls. I am going to sling the carcass in a pot in a second when I can drag myself away from here and make some stock. Kirsty Allsop eat your heart out, I might just invest in a lovely floral pinny to prance around the house in when I am in full Domesticity Mode . Surely it must look nicer than my Mrs Santa one thats dragged out all year, bought for me by some lovely friends a few years ago ! Mr Pinot is home late but needs feeding and last night the risotto I fed him at midnight when he walked in was a bit too filling that late at night. My lovely mum and dad arrived from their trip to A£di earlier today ( they are now converts:)) with some mussels in white wine and garlic sauce for us , so I think I will share those later tonight after I collect Mr Pinot with some crusty bread and a glass of A£di Pinot ! Yum !!
Ok now I have bored you all to death ( you will be wishing for me to go AWOL again soon so that you dont have to sit through these long old burblings !!) I'm going now to email DD1's school who issued her with a detention for not totally completing all of the homework set on the night our relative passed away. :mad:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Oooh, and you say my tea sounds lovely. Soup! Baking!!! Mine was 2 chicken breasts cut up and fried off, a tin of ratatouille and pasta bunged in the oven with some cheese grated over the top.
Everyone loved it!!
My DD is going mad for a facebook account but we won't allow her to have one for exactly that reason. Apparently she's the only (said very dramatically) child in her whole year group not to have one!! What a cruel mother I am.
Yes the car is quite new. DH travels for work quite a lot (we are also a limited company, can feel your pain re cash flow ) and his last one was on its last legs. Luckily all of the mileage he does pays for the car loan.;)

Wow, you've been a busy lady, but sounds like you had a fun weekend. Well done of the freebies.
We all have FB accounts and it really was a mission when DS1 got his a couple of years ago, because he has aspergers he would put random comments up about quite sensitive subjects and think he was being amusing. We had to delete quite a few of them before others could read them. Thankfully things have improved and we are able to talk to him about the odd post and then give him the choice of whether to leave it up or delete it.
Well done Mr PG on helping all the other motorists and for getting home safely. What a nice man. :T

Glad they all enjoyed their dinner this evening !
We didnt allow DD1 to have a Facebook account until she was jsut about to start Yr8 , she was also the only one in her class without it. I relented as she was missing out on certain things, parties where the invites were posted on facebook rather than an old fashioned invitation and also general chit chat. She was constantly being met with, I cant believe you didnt know about that, we all talked aboutit on facebook weeks ago etc etc ! She has been allowed it but we have her passwords and she is happy with that and she knows that we monitor it. Not constantly, but certainly if we feel we have need or feel a little suspicious, as I did on fri evening. She also has family friends as her friends who also keep an eye out for anythign un toward, so it works, generally. If I had my way though, she wouldnt have it at all, but sometimes we need a bit of give and take. DD2 is the only child in her Yr 6 class without facebook, all others had it in Yr 4 / 5. Each to their own I suppose !!
Lucky that you have managed to get a newish car via the business. Unfortuantely for us although the business has been running for 13 years ish we only became Ltd in 2010, then all this debt business became a problem and our credit rating shot to pieces, and we have been unable to lease / buy a car via the business, as they class the business as new so therefore look at the directors credit rating before agreeing to the car ! My car is nearly 12 years old and done 170K and Mr Pintos although only 5 years has done 100k, so we are hanging in there at the moment willing them to keep on going !!:DLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Ok well now you have well and truly flumoxed me !! As if I need anymore challenges at this moment in time. I have my suspicions as to who you might be but cant be sure !! Keep posting and I will read between the lines if I can ! Seriously though, I hope you are ok and whatever the reason is that you decided to change your user name , I hope that all is ok with you. Hmmmm I cant ask you to pm me, cos thats not allowed if you have a new identity, so I will have to just to keep on guessing to myself , but I will never know if I am right or wrong !! OMG this is worse than waiting for news from the predators !!!:rotfl:
Mr Pinot is a very lovely man but as Ive said before........ ssshhhh dont tell him ! Its a closely guarded secret which even he doesnt know !
I can imagine monitoring DS1's facebook account must be quite challenging, I have a friend whos son also has aspergers and she has found facebook and also him having mobile phones and texting a real mission ,as she was concerned that his innocent comments may sometimes be misconstrued, but to be honest DD1 who just has a very random sense of humour sometimes has me cringing with her daft remarks albeit well meant ! If you are all facebook users then at least you can see what is being posted. It is a difficult decision to make isnt it, when to allow it and when not to I suppose ?
Hope everyone has had a lovely evening xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

You have been busyI need to do some baking myself before school break starts here on Friday. So will probably spend next week in mams' taxi as we are rural and there are things that the kids "have to get done since we are off and all we do is study". Ah parenthood. They are great kids and give me no bother whatsoever so I can't really complain.
Have to say your £8258 is some figure, absolutely amazing ... well done Pinot !!!!!
take care

Thankyou Happy and EQueen ! I think I have shocked myself with that debt reduction tbh ! In fairness though some of it we had no choice ie the tax bill, we did have a little bit of money towards it and have had to pay them fairly hefty chunks, but we owed it and have managed to pay it :jWell, not all of it yet, but we are getting there !! Trouble is We will get another bill come September but the grand plan is to pay this one off, hopefully soon, then carry on maintaining the payments we are currently making to them so that we are actually in advance. That way if its in their bank account and not ours the temptation isnt there to use it if things get tough, we will just have to deal with it !:D
I have also been fairly successful in reclaiming some charges, so again that did help, but the figure is getting lower !! Whoopee !!!!:TLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Ooh Mums Taxi, yes mine is looking very busy next week, infact there isnt a gap in the old buses schedule unfortunately. We are not exactly rural , but we arent blessed with loads of transport services either and DD1's friends tend to live in rural villages making it difficult to get to. Also my lovely girl hasnt been blessed with the best sense of direction and I darent put her on a bus on her own as I dread to think where she will end up, so I do still tend to do alot of running around after her !:rotfl:I do find it gets a bit stressful in the holidays though as I still work, so trying to cram everything in isnt easy. Good luck to you next week !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
