Oh what an exhausting week, the whole PG family look exhausted. Actually I havent really seen Mr PG but I guess he looks rubbish as well !
Mr PG away with work all weekend, I need to work also, so it doesn't really feel like a Bank Holiday weekend here sadly.
I have banned anyone's children from sleeping over this weekend, I cant remember the last time we had the house to ourselves. A couple of DD1's friends popped in for a couple of hours last night but then I told them they had to go. I feel bad as they are lovely girls and seem to like being here, but I really needed some space. We sat down about 8.30 and had a movie night & Popcorn in our PJs which was fab and then crashed out.
Other than work today and making sure the girls are ok and occupied ,its the usual washing and ironing mountain. The washing machine starting making weird noises yesterday, infact it was so loud it sounded like it was going to blow up. I suspect a hair grip is stuck in the drum. I took a quick look and couldn't find anything , so I will load it up as usual and hope for the best !
Hope the sun is shining for you all and you have a lovely weekend xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hair grips always caused my last WM to make horrendous noise. I got very adept at pulling out the bottom filter off the WM, ( well below the drum) water would pour out and there would be my DDs hair accessories in it! Always worked after that!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

The filter and I dont mix well together. Last time I pulled it out I flooded the kitchen so I left well alone this time ! I usually find theminside the seal going rusty as well. I have done three washes today so far and the noise is coming and going. I am hoping they are making their way through the system and will find their way to the filter ready for me to allocate that job to Mr PG, he is far less messy than I !!
The sun is back, I have finished working, for now at least . DD2 has made some lovely mini doughnuts, so I will put the ironing board up in the garden and eat doughnuts this afternoon I thinkx

Phew ! Sounds like you have been very busy. Sorry have been AWOL but hectic here too. Have decided to move house so am in decorating mode so we can get it valued. What have I started??? Also need to pay some more money off so that getting a mortgage will be easier. Down to 9 debts from 14 this time last year. One will finish in dec giving us an extra £400!! A month, and one in April giving us an extra £350 a month so am Hapy to let them tick over. Eyes on dh's od next. Still get a thrill out of seeing my account in credit.
Hope you are well and not working too hard xxxNumber of debts between us - 3 (2 @ 0%)0 -
Well done shelski, thats great.
Mrs PG...you DO seem to do a LOT of ironing..can I suggest maybe breaking the addiction:p and doing some light reading of trashy magazines instead...much better for the soul I find!!:rotfl:MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Trashy magazines in place of the ironing sounds fab.It always seems mountainous, but I think its becasue I start it, then get distracted or need to go somewhere or work and it grinds to a halt after a few mins. Most of it I think are Mr PGs old manky work t shirts which I probably shouldn't even bother ironing I hate ironing, would much rather be cleaning instead !
Mr PG and I have taken two days off of work, we were going to pack up the tent and escape to a field with the girls for a change of scenery. Sadly some "stuff" got in the way of that plan, the weather didnt help either ! The reason for the rapid planned escape was that ,
I'm not proud to admit I had a mini meltdown at the weekend. One of those moments where we were working like crazy all bank holiday, and all around me were happy families having BBQ's in the sunshine with friends or family or had gone away for the weekend. Instead I worked and juggled the girls like the cray lady I seem to be and Mr PG worked like an equally crazy man. I had a strop, cried lots of stupid tears and was generally a bit horrible really.:o We decided we needed an escape and a couple of days off , so the field it was to be. Instead though we are still at home, we have ended up doing a little work , we did go out for lunch with the girls which was lovely. DD2 has gone to a party, DD1 has some friends over and they are camping in the garden tonight. Mr PG and I are planning to go and sit in the pub for a quiet chat and a catch up later on, I think its just what the doctor ordered really. That or those one way tickets to Oz that I keep dreaming about !!
Hope you are all doing ok xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

The coming and going noise could be the bearings get someone to look at it FOC sooner rather than later. If the bearings go it can effect other things.
Flaming poss tubs were better!Trying to shift that debt!0
