Thankyou Skint. I need to take the girls out tonight , I will have left before Mr PG gets home. He is working all weekend in Manchester and also we need to get this picture sorted and couriered.

I have no idea when we will get a chance to speak, but I swear we have hardly uttered a word to each other in weeks. Most of our conversations seem to occur over BBM ! Not healthy really !

I have freebie tickets for the movies Tuesday night but have realised DD1 needs to be taken somewhere at exactly the same time and collected an hour later so it looks like we wont be able to go. Not that we would speak much in the cinema but if I raided the VAT we could maybe have grabbed a cheap bite to eat or a drink beforehand and chatted.

Ho Hum, Grumpy old Mrs PG...................... get a grip !! :o

  • Off now to the dentist with DD2, full of cold snot and antibiotics !

Tonight they have a belated Christmas present ( a concert) which they have been looking forward to.

Neither of them are really well enough to go but they dont want to miss it, so I be one of those terrible mothers everyone hates , I will take my sickly children, infect everyone else around us,then trot merrily back home again ! :o

:jHere you are, Pinot - your magic hat awaits at New Leaf's. It sounds as though you are in dire need of your very own magic hat. Please be aware, though, that it's magic powers are finite, so you must only use it when you really, really need some magic. I suggest that you sit yourself down this evening with a nice glass of your name sake, put your feet up and don the magic hat for half an hour or so (just so it knows that you are it's mistress) Your luck will start to change immediately and it will set you up nicely for the weekend:j

I have every confidence in you and the power of a slow cooker, easy peasy!
