The picture has sold !
Well technically its half a picutre so it has sold for £75 not the £150 the other sold for.
They are wooden panels each one different but she only wants to order one of them. Thats fine though as its less work to fit in. The panel is already made so its the lettering that needs doing ,then the packaging and sorting out the My H£rm£s Delivery which caused us problems last time.
Mr PG currently has the weekend off, I think he plans to do it then although I have yet to really peak to him, he made it home, ate his dinnercold, he was too hungry to warm it up ( it was Jamies Spicy Laska and sticky chicken , I excelled myself tonight !!) and he is now working again.
I might actually attempt to do the picture myself, I used ot be quite arty back in the day, just worried I might mess it up and cause even more work x
I am planning on having time to have a good trawl around the diaries tomorrow (I think I need to allow myself a good few hours ) and see how you all are doing if I can. I have no idea whats happening with you all. Piq maybe you need to do me one of your updates ! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Didn't want to read and run but v. tired so this will be a quick one. Hope you and DDs are feeling much better. I know how much worry THEM and THE OTHERS cause. Am still waiting on the corporation tax amount and know there will not yet be enough in bank, although if invoices get paid on time, there should just be, with VAT due next month.
At least you have a handle on what is coming in and going out. It's better than not having a clue and are managing to raise some more funds from ebay etc.
How is the mortgage company coping with the late payments? Are you with Lloyds for your business account? They do a service that allows you to access the money you've invoiced but not collected yet. Am sure there is a suitable fee for the service and I don't know if it's possible/ would suit you/ you'd want to do it, but it might be an option to think about.
Take care. Bed time now

Hi Pinot, you are having a rough time of it. So is Mr P too by the sound of it - a 22 hour day . Robbing Peter to pay Paul is really stressful, but at least it's your own money you are borrowing so your debts aren't rising.
Well done on the picture sale. It's more work when you could both really use a rest, but at least it's different to the day job and hopefully quite fun to do.LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Hope your corporation tax amount isnt too horrendous Shelski and you have enough to cover it.
Our business banking is with B2rclays, thats a good service that Lloyds offer . Im not sure if Barclays do it, but I think at the moment its best if we carry on muddling through.
As you say we have a handle on it of sort, as long as it comes in . I think we should be back up to speed and caught up on everything by the end of March and hopefully things will settle down and not be as much of a worry.
Hope you are ok xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Sorry Shelski you asked about the mortgage company. They are really good to be honest. Always have been. We dont pay by DD. They allow us to make a payment by bank transfer sometime within ieach calender month, sometimes they get it all in one go and others in dribs and drabs. We couldnt pay January at all, but I think looking at the figures we should just about be able to pay all of Februarys or most of it at least. March will be fine, so then we need to play catch up. They are pretty relaxed about it as long as they see money coming through they seem ok. Im sure they wouldnt let it continue long term but we should make in roads into clearing the arrears in the next few months as long as we continue to be very careful and the invoices are paid !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Today I have two sickly children and hubby at home.
DD2s throat is very swollen and she is having trouble swallowing I think I may need to take her to the docs for antibiotics. She is currently chilling in bed reading the Secret Garden ( I love that book ) and drinking her honey and lemon.
DD1 is languishing in bed, snotty and stuffed up to the eyeballs. She has an exam at 12.30 so needs to get a shifty on but she looks rough as old boots.
Mr PG has been working since 8am so had a lovely long lie in and no travelling. I keep popping by with cups of tea but I am trying not to speak to him so I dont disturb him . But I have so much I need to talk to him about !
The coats I found yesterday are washed and dried, I might blast the furry bits with a hairdryer to fluff them up a bit to look nicer for photographing and sticking on £bay .
One wash load is done. I think pasta will be for tea, I saved the woody bits from last night asparagus a la Piq and will make a sauce to go on the pasta, I would like some salad with it but dont think there is much in the fridge, I need to check.
I am on accounts again today and general email anwering duties. Other than the contract its pretty qiuet so I might chase a few things up work wise as well as the invoices .
Right thats this mornings update......I am gone . Byee xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
