  • I am here Mrs PG :rotfl::rotfl:
    Just posted on NL's diary but I have indeed done the deed :j
    Feel so much better for it too.

    The doubt will probably creep in at some point as to how we will manage, can I work with OH full time, what will I actually fill my day with, is there enough work for me etc. AND I am about to delve into the murky world of keeping books and therefore face encounters with THEM :D

    But I have you good people to ask advice of in relation to that.

    Hope you and the PG family have a good weekend xx

    I agree. Financial education should be part of the school curriculum. It can only help if kids understood how interest rates worked and exactly what you would pay back over a loan period. As well as how credit cards actually work, just how deadly it can be to get cash out on one, for example.

    Thats it really , I am in a horrible grumpy mood this weekend, not sure whats got into me, but I think its best that I sstepped away from the diary before I made everyone grumpy ! :o

    Am sure I will be cheery by tomorrow though x

  • The day hasn't started well.

    I have been up most of the night with DD2, she has temperature, cold, sore throat, cough and the most awful headache. She was hallucinating as well which is always horrible but something she has always done when she getspoorly so we are used to it . She is dozing in bed now and needless to say I could happily crawl back into my bed myself.

    THEY have been on the phone, bright and early at 8.15 this morning. They want to chat now apparently whereas previously they wouldnt acknowledge letters or enter into an agreement so we have just been paying what we can as and when. They called Mr PG , who had just walked into the office so I believe they will be calling back later as he couldnt talk. He did say the person sounded more accomodating than those we have spoken to before but we will wait and see.

    I had a bit of a child like tantrum at the weekend, brought on by the fact that the whole weekend consisted of nothing more than me washing, ironing, cleaning and tidying,cooking and running children around everyhere, jollying along with homework, helping with homework etc etc . Mr PG had Sunday off, pottered around in the morning , then decided to take himself off for a bike ride, by the time he was home and showered and ready to start the day it was 3pm whereas I had been running around like a blue !!!!! fly all day. In his defence he did take the old rusty garden furniture to the tip , but by then my mood was horrendous. I am not sure really what I wanted to do at the weekend really with no money coming in (three more invoices overdue and £15 in the bank :eek:) but I think an opportunity at some point over the weekend to sit for five minutes and pick up my book would have been nice or left the house and gone for a walk maybe ? Perhaps I am acting like a spoilt brat but I felt everyone else had time to spend doing something they wanted and I chased my tail all weekend and before I know it, its Monday again.

    Sorry for the whinge, I will stop now :o

    So thats my Monday so far.

    I will report back on the conversation with THEM when it happens . I am worrying myself silly on how to pay the bills this month. VAT due as well ,but as we arent being paid I am dipping into that money to get us by, therefore there is now less in that account than I need. Had December and January been ok work wise all would be fine and we would be muddling through , but this has put a huge spanner in the works and thrown us completely. Im not quite sure at the moment how we will juggle and pay everything. I have tried to sit Mr PG down and explain everything that needs paying, hasn't been paid and whats due and when but I am not convinced he is really listening to me. :(

    Hey Ho !! x
