  • My lists have lapsed this week and along with them I have noticed a considerable reduction in how much I have achieved this .:(

This isnt good for me, I get angry if I havent powered through a thousand things, so today the lists will come back into play hopefully.

I am shattered though, yesterday was a busy day, except for a lovely two hour coffee and chat with a friend in the afternoon. I drank far too much coffee yesterday but I think it got me through the day.

After collecting the girls from school it was full on until we finally walked back in the house at midnight. They had dance class in the evening, I visited my parents and then we got home aout 8pm, ten mins later we were back out of the door as the girls were singing in the pub. DD2 has also been asked to sing now. It was a lovely night but hectic flying around and the girls done us proud ! They had a blast and loved every minute of it. It therefore wasnt a NSD as we bought drinks in the pub, only cokes though as we are being very good at the moment :D.

I couldnt sleep last night , not sure why . My mind was spinning, about singing lessons, songs, the upcoming festival both girls are playing at, the mortgage and a plan on getting up to speed with it. Th accountant bill and paying off the tax and saving for the next bill due in October. You name it I think I was thinking about it ! DD2 needs trousers, infact she needs a whole new wardrobe. She needs a new riding hat and brace so she cant go to the stables as I cant afford to buy the gear she needs although I am selling her old bits on ebay at the moment so will put what we make towards new things for her. I swear I laid awake until about 6am this morning That wasnt good as I needed to drag the girls up for school. We were up late, 8am , but they did make it on time.......just ! :o

So....continuing with my day, I will try and get back with a list later, but need to crack on with work now.

    Have a lovely Friday x

I actually meant that how I got myself into this mess was my old way of thinking was "working so hard I deserve nice things" when now it is working as hard as possible to pay all our debts and not have to work until we die!

Sorry NL, I know you arent in the camp now ! :D

We just need to blast our way through this debt so we can relax. We will get there x

Pinot, I hope you get through today okay after so little sleep last night.
You have done a lot this week, just look at your old list and cross things off , it makes me feel so much better if I can cross something off.

My night was better as I sneaked into the cottage (it is vacant this week!) and had a long soak in the bath, then an early night. I needed to get away and next door was a quiet retreat.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
'I had a black dog, his name was depression".
  • Dont be a slave to lists (even though I am too) sometimes we need to recharge.

It sounds like a fab night - dont worry things will come together. My husband is finding loads to sell today. I shall be pre preparing ebay listings!
    Trying to shift that debt!

Am I sure your quiet retreat did you the poweer of good Pooh.

Me too thats why I love lists. When there are lovely thick black lines through everything I feel like I have achieved so much, even if its something daft on the list like buy a loaf of bread ! :rotfl:

Hmmm, you love a list as well Skint ! How about I write a list of everything I have done with a tick next to it rather than a list of what I want or need to do ?! That would make a change !

Is it free isting on ebay this weekend do you know, I am determined to list more than the measly two things I did last weekend ? :o

So this is my list of what has been achieved today so far rather than what I should or need to do .

    Get up Late - Check
Scream at children to wake up - Check
Drag children out of door in PJs ( me not them !) - Check
Come home and unload and reload dishwasher. Quickly clean down the kitchen. - Check
Clean wooden floors and kitchen floors - Check
Make all beds and pick wet towels up off of floor - Check
Two washloads done and drying - Check
Whizz around the rest of house with polish and hoover throughout - check
Have shower and make effort to look presentable - Check feeling lazy though so scruffy bun stuck on top of head rather than tidy hair.
Put up iron board, have yet to iron though :o
Get freebie tickets for movie, cant remember what its called though, something to do with Clouds :D - check
Work - more potential work for Feb and March :D - check
    Chase money :D - check
Try to forget the fact that I didnt pay Council Tax in Jan . I will pay as soon as one of the invoices gets paid - check
Email videos of girls singing last night to Grandparents etc - Check
Make bowl of soup for MR PG who is working from home today and try not to speak to him or he wont get anything done ! :rotfl:Check
Email Picture of Spiderman Cycling Mankini to Mr PG who is downstairs to see if he would like it for his forthcoming birthday ! :rotfl:Check !
Steal £2ish from my Sealed Ish Pot and do Lottery tonight :o - Check
More Filing, thankfully no more rubber ducks to be found but lots of hair grips belonging to the girls are appearing. - Check
Prepare Acounts as Year end yesterday, so need to get them bit more organised before their trip to the Accountants. Dont think she will look at them until I pay the last bill though ! Oops ! :o - Some of it is done .
Get some ebay listing ready for the wekend - Check
Collect girls and DD2's friend from school and drop her home - Check
Feed DD1 early dinner before Dance - Check
Take DD1 to Dance - Check
Try not to freak out at sight of kitchen when I returned to find DD2 and friend who has turned up with her Pj's (?!) making cakes in the kitchen - Check
Listen in all seriousness to a new song DD2 and Friend have made up about a whale to the tune of Emeli Sandes Clown, the problem is that the words very much have a double meaning and is so unintentionally rude, but they have no idea. It is the funniest thing , I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face while they practice at the top of their voices. As a clue, they are singing about a whale with an 18 foot horn. The less said the better ! :rotfl:Check

Righ thats it for now , I will update more later.

I need to go to A3da though as DD2 has no toothpaste or deoderant. They get through the stuff like its going out of fashion. xx
