Decided to step away from work today, well ish and only do the bare minimum as the ironing once again is threatening to engulf the whole family !
Settling down to iron the Snoopy PJs, I pressed the steam on the iron and there was an almighty bang which blew the electrics in the entire house and everything went off. Computers, lights, music and the iron obviously. Oops !!!
Obviously I have got the electrics back on now, but there is also now a huge pool of water underneath the ironing board which is obviously leaking out from somewhere. Best I go and mop up and find out and discover the problem !! :eek:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Hah! knew ironing was dangerous and a waste of time.....
Hope it was just a fuse resetting itself in the fuse box. Not sure about the iron's longevity though...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I had to smile when I read about the odd shoes. :rotfl:
You probably didn't watch Deal or No Deal today but Noel had odd colour socks on.
Hopefully NHBC will get your house sorted out quickly and properly for you.
Congratulations on hitting 20%. You're doing extremely well.
By the way, here's a vanilla latte for you. :coffee:June 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15

Why thankyou kind sir and most enjoyable it was too !!
Nope I didnt watch Noel today, but we live in odd socks in our house. I got so fed up of sorting them and trying to remember whose socks belong to who, I throw them all in a big basket and its a free for all. Us girls all have the same size feet but its Mr PG I feel sorry for when he finds himself trying to squish his feet into our fetching Girly socks in the middle of the night when he disappears off to work !! :rotfl:
Sure he loves it really ! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Think you have a point there Piq but seriously it was and still is out of control ! I need an ironing fairy and fast !
I stuck the end of a coat hanger into the water tank and all sorts of gunk and rubbish came out and its been right as rain ever since ! Now I just need to discover why the oven is blowing the fuse box as well and I will be sorted ! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Ok, so Thursday Morning looks like this - Washing on, another lot drying, beds made, an hour of iron done and away and girls off to school. Kitchen clean and tidy, cant quite face the dishwasher unloading at the moment. Its my most hated job, well other than the ironing ! Five more items listed on Ebay, one with a bid already . I am running out of things to sell I think although I have a wardrobe full of the girls old party dresses. The sensible side tells me to pop them up on ebay. They are perfect for Christmas, all absolutely gorgeous and Im sure there are many little girls out there who would love them, BUT the sentimental side says I ahve to keep them forever. The thought of parting with them makes me feel sick
Mr PG thinks I am totally bonkers, but I am not sure I can let them go !!
Busy day today with work, I also need to try and hit the shops which I try and avoid at every opportunity. We have three birthdays this weekend, so I need to get some presents. Funds are dwindling but another Client should pay tomorrow so thats good news.
DD1 has a haircut tonight, being done by a friend so that not costly. Girls both have dance class also and I will be visiting my parents this evening while they are dancing, so a pretty busy day all in all.
Hopefully all will go smoothlyLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Good luck with your Day Mrs PG.
I wanted to let you know, I know I'd said I was going to start running, well I tried and after the first session got the most horrific cold I was off work for two days, how typically me!
I waited until I was better again and I'm now almost finished my third week of the programme I'm following. I run three times a week building it up in bursts, so thank you (I know you're going to ask why haha) because I knew that I'd told you all I was going to do it so it really really made me. I'm actually starting to enjoy it now *shhh* haha!HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000
