I hate seeing her so sad.
. The Acupuncture has made her sleepy and I think she has exhausted herself from crying x
My husband has acupuncture every week - without it he would not be able to work.
His first few sessions also hurt and when the needle that was in his leg (the part linked to the head in acupuncture theory) was taken out he was bleeding for ages (as he has problems with his pain on that same side of his head).
Acupuncture does seem to bring out emotions in people.
DH cannot drive after acupuncture as he feels so spaced out and not normal (but in a nice way) - I would not trust him to drive. He is so chilled out afterwards and then sleeps like a baby all night!!
Hope DD gets some relief from the pain.
I also agree with speaking to the dance teacher - to be honest I would probably have gone up there screaming like an old fishwife :rotfl:0 -
I did lots of cheering last night as OH got the job he interviewed for on Thursday
permanent, 5 weeks training and then rotating shifts over 4 weeks so should be better for his medication.
He was due to be finished his current job the start of Jan so this is great news and means we should have no money worries now
Now I just need him to stop injuring himself haha.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Can't stop for long but just to say I think you need to have a chat with the dance teacher. It's not fair on DD1 and maybe the teacher needs to know about your op and DD1s pain....or reminded of it? Don't think you should leave it. It's obvious its been going on for a while. If its some weird way of trying to get her to commit more ( lots of girls, as you know, give up dance and sport when they are teenagers) it's a very old fashioned and un child focussed way of doing it! More like a throwback to the 1970s!
Have a great weekend
Morning Mrs B,,
Thankyou , the Dance Teacher had a long letter explaining about my op and also a very lengthy phone call. When she speaks to me she is as ncie as pie. She is teaching this morning but I will call her again this afternoon.

Went shopping today with the girls, we have five birthdays this week so we needed ot pick up a few pressies and also I wanted some ideas as to what the girls do and dont like. Its been ages since we shopped or even window shopped together. I thought it would be mobbed but actualyl it wasnt to bad.
Sign of the times perhaps or just people leaving it late to do Christmas shopping, or have done it all early or shopping online ? I have things sitting in the Am@zon shopping basket but cant quite bring myself to hit the confirm order button ! My how things have changed !! :rotfl:
DD1 gone off to a very glam party tonight, in her Top Shop Ebay Bargain of a dress. She looks gorgeous.
She was sent on her merry way full of instructions on not drinking , not letting her soft drink out of her sight, avoiding letchy boys and the list goes on and on !!! Poor Girl !!
DD2 has friends over tonight, so I have a very busy noisy house. They have just decided to slap on the face masks !! :eek:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I assume you pay for the dance school so you have every right to go or not go, and to expect top notch service when you do go. Xx
I agree with lucky. If you pay for her services she should be absolutely charming to you! To bully your daughter, because she is a child and cannot answer back is wrong and makes me want to go in and give her a piece of my mind!fallenwiccan wrote: »I did lots of cheering last night as OH got the job he interviewed for on Thursdaypermanent, 5 weeks training and then rotating shifts over 4 weeks so should be better for his medication.

Oh god, this is a nightmare, I swear I havent been to sleep yet and its driving me mad. I am falling into a proper sleep about 6am this last week which is no good at all for getting up for work, school etc.
Head is spinning - Dance Teacher (still not called me back I have left three messages )
Chrsitmas Presents ( Loads of things spinning around in my head to get for people but the money isnt sitting there at the moment to get them . Grr ! ) I have shopping baskets full of bits all over th e place but I cant hit tthe order button.
My car - It wouldnt start again yesterday morning although I think an interior light was left on. It does need another new battery though so it is another expense.
DD2 - She has a Science Exam tomorrow after school and I think she has forgotten as we have had a busy but fun weekend. She has her best friends brithday tea after school tonight so it wont leave her much room for revision . I wish we had remembered at the weekend.
DD1 - Had a amazing time at the party on Saturday, but oh my the horror stories and photos she showed me of what went on. Thankgod shes sensible is all I can say ! It wasnt like that in my day !!!
Thats it really but my head is just spinning around and around I decided to get up.
Sold loads more bits on ebay over the weekend. About £40 worth I think, most of it is packaged up so I may do the rest now. Its either that or the ironing . I listed another five itmes last night and evening managed to bring myself to list some of the girls old Party Dresses that have been causing me sentimental stresses recently ! I hope no one buys them !! :rotfl:
Right thats it for now, I ahve just heard Mr PGs alarm go off, he got back from Wales yesterday afternoon but is off again anyminute now.
I will go and make him a nice cup of tea I think to set him off on his merry way xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Mr PG was on his way out of the door by the time the kettle had boiled. He didnt get his tea as I had decided ( thinking I was being frugal !) to descale the kettle with vinegar in the absence of Limescale Remover at about 10.30 last night. Sadly I hadn't rinsed it out properly and the milk curdled as I poured the water into Mr PG's Tea !!
He declined my kind offer and decided to make his tea at work instead. He starts at 5, so he hasnt long to wait !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to sleep. There is nothing worse and everything seems so magnified and less manageable in the dead of night.
Grrrrr to dance teacher, she is obviously running scared. All bullies are when faced with someone 'the same size or bigger'.
Poor Mr PG and his acidic tea. It did make me smile though - is that wrong?
I hope your car starts and you have a good day XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
