Reminds me of a time when DH & I were newly married & both working full time. He regularly got home at 5pm but it wasn't unusual for me to have to work until 9pm and I was struggling to keep up with the housework etc (DH is much better now but at the time never seemed to help round the house!). I wrote a story in the same sort of way about a princess who couldn't keep the castle clean as she had so many other things to occupy her time, but the wonderful prince took pity on her and gallantly rode around the castle on his trusty steed 'Dyson'. The princess was then so happy she *ahem* rewarded him accordingly.
I thought the story was inspired & happily trotted off to work, leaving the written piece on the bed for him to find when he got home and went up to change his clothes.
He rang me at work that night to say the hoovering was done but he had shat himself when he got home to find what he thought was a 'Dear John' letter on the bed and I'd left him :rotfl:.
So very tempted to do something similar. He complains and complains that things don't get done but doesn't go to do them himself. Something things are in places I don't even go or look so how I'm supposed to know they need cleaning I have no idea. When I pointed out actually there's flash wipes sat in that bathroom it was like a whole new world had opened up, now if they ever get used will be something else. :j
He said he didn't know what jobs needed doing, when I said I'd write a list of all the jobs I do I got wrong for being sarcy. I'll just keep broaching it. I'm hoping with our little new dyson it'll be easier to get him to keep the floor as it means he won't need to touch anything at all when emptying it.
My rant is done :P off to work.HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Thats Genius Be Lucky !!
I found myself in a similar situation Once Upon a Life, but after it continued for many years, rather than writing Fairytale Story I opted for the Divorce Papers and never looked back !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Or next time (if there is one) get her up with you and make her do it. I know I always learnt best when I was shown that this is what you need to do to make these things happenHSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

Shes such a good girl really , just a bit airy fairy at times. She does know how to work the machine, it was just getting the blazer from her room to the machine that appeared to be the problem !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Does anyone understand this little scenario please ?
This time last year when we were struggling to make minimum payments, had LBM, started diary and then finally entered into a DMP in January this year, Mr Pinots Credit Score was in VERY BAD category. Im unsure of mine as I didnt want to pay twice but would estimate it was the same if not worse as there are more debts in my name than his.
Anyway, I should be working but brain a little distracted today, so I decided to do a check on Mr Pinots score which will be exactly one year since the last. Anyway his score has incresed to the National Average of FAIR Category. I am baffled ! Admittedly it says that he doesnt have any credit available but thats no great shakes, it shows the total outstanding debt as £31,000 ish which is the amount outstanding on our hugemungous bank loan. The remainder of our debt is made up of cards.
Now I would have expected the score to be down at Zero and possibly in minus figures if there really was such a thing, so why is it now in the Fair Category considering the DMP etc etc. And where has the remaining debt disappeared to ?!
If anyone can shed some light and stop from head from spinning it would be very muchly appreciated !!! Thankyou !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I loved your fairy story, it made me laugh. Thank you!
With regards to the credit score story, I have no idea why it would have improved. According to the loans board, if you're feeling brave enough to venture there, you may not get out alive; credit scores are not really that relevant. They say you can be refused even when you have 100% rating. I wouldn't worry too much about it, none of us are going to use credit again...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Yup the Mortgage board will also tell you credit scores are meaningless and to pretty much ignore them and only use it to see why you have problems if you're refused (it can bring up hidden things or if someone else has been linked to you when they shouldn't have been).HSBC CC - £3000 / £3000

I think I should write a Fairy Story for her every day and then present it to her when she is 18 !! :rotfl:
The Credit Score is baffling, as you say it doesnt mean much. I had decided ot check it out as I wanted to make sure everyone had defaulted us before we go into next year. Thankfully they have, and also we had seen a couple of mystery CCJs appear which we had queried and been told they were incorrect and had been deleted. Having checked it all out I am happier now !
Im sure if I check today, which I wont that the Score will be down there in the Very Very Very Poor Category again !!! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
