Well done on the further debt reduction, it'll be lovely to see 20% and £20k paid off, which at the rate you are going, won't be long x

    Thankyou Granny.

The big reductions are due to end soon though, no more PPI, Credit Card charges etc to try and claim back.

I might attempt a Hardship Bank Charges Claim though, you never know , Ive been threatening to do it for a while, but I just dont seem to have had the time .

  • Very pleased with myself this afternoon. I have bid and won two beautiful cosy winter coats with labels on still for the girls on ebay. :D I know they will be thrilled.

Also bagged a gorgeous black £50 brand new Top Shop Dress with labels a few days ago for DD1 to wear at Christmas. ( I cant stop thinking about blasted Christmas !) I got it for £4.20 so I am rather pleased with myself. It arrived today and I laid it on her bed as a surprise for when she came in from school. She loves it :T . No time to try it on as they are both had to scoot back out to dance classes, but I cant wait to see her in it although she is looking far too grown up for my liking these days ! :(

I have 13 items up for sale on ebay , all with watchers and 8 items with bids already despite a week to go. Another bag of clothing was sent to Cash for Clothes on Monday and I have already filled a another which is waiting for collection. I will get rid of the toot in this house if it kills me! :D

So overall I am feeling rather smug and extremely frugal today ! ;)

PPI Party Pooper Mortgage-free Glee! Debt-free and Proud!
    Smug, frugal and clutter-free!

The eb*y buys were fantastic bargains, very impressed, but even more impressed with you listing so much. I find it so boring. I've got quite a few horse rugs to photograph [hate that too] I know they'll make good money, the last lot made me nearly £200. I just can't muster up the enthusiasm...

Sounds to me like the boredom would be worth while though ! I must admit I go in fits and starts with the listing, but having found lots of lovely goodies I had a second wind as it were !! :rotfl:

Slight problem, although the dress would look beautiful, she is having trouble getting it over her bottom !! Her sister is waiting patiently in the wings for her to admit defeat and hand the dress over to her !! :rotfl:

  • Today I am neither smug, frugal or clutter free. I am bored, fed up and having a minor sulk !!!

I want to go back working in the industry I used to, which has absolutely nothing to do with what we do now. Easier said than done when you have been working in entirely different industry for 14 years. Theres lots of work out there, the pays not great , but hey ho, but its the hours that are the problem. Weekends, evenings, bank holidays. I am unsure how on earth I could even contemplate it with Mr Pinot not being here weekends, evenings or bank holidays. How would I sort out the girls without them suffering and who would run my end of the Business while I galivant off to selfishly do something I want to do ?!!

I think this one will have to be a pipe dream. :(

  • Got some free movie tickets for this tonight, but I dont think we can find the time to go. Not sure when Mr Pinot will arrive home from work , I havent seen him all week and barely spoken to him , and I have a houseful of teenage girls for a sleepover. Not sure I am happy leaving them home alone for a few hours while we nip out for a very rare couple of hours on our own , although its very tempting ! :o
