  • Evening Pinot, or should I say morning? Life seems to be going full pelt again for you, just remember to take care of yourself. :)

Nobody ever seems to want to take ownership of the messes they create do they? I really hope NHBC get back to you over the roof in the next day or so and that you don't have to spend precious time chasing them.

Oh, and good luck with the spiders.

  • You are too young !! Wham and Duran Duran all the way for me !!

Actually I read an article / interview with John Taylor from Duran Durna last night ! He is 50 now ! Still looking mighty fine though in my opinion ! :D

I'm thinking we're about the same age, but I would also add Adam Ant and Culture Club to the list.

Dunno if you listen to radio 2, but John Taylor is picking the 'Tracks of my Years' on the Ken Bruce show next week. :D
I will pray long and hard that they are money spiders ,but something tells me with their big fat juicy legs and horrible faces that they are just wicked spiders out to get me !!

I will keep praying for the Money Spiders to appear in their droves ! :D
We live in the country and have HUGE spiders. This is the main purpose for my Dyson (with the occasional waft across my carpets :rotfl: )

Ahh... yes. 8-legged cat snacks. If I'm not quick enough with the Dyson, that's what happens to ours too... except the wee one doesn't know she's supposed to kill it first, so she swallows it alive and then runs around like a dafty for 10 minutes while it "wriggles and jiggles and tickles inside her".

The older one had been stalking this one spider on the other side of the glass-panelled kitchen door the other night. Sat watching for ages just waiting for it to come under the door so he could pounce. I stepped into the kitchen to make a drink, spotted it, grabbed the Dyson and sucked it away. I swear that cat scowled at me for hours afterwards :rotfl:
  • Good luck with the NHBC Mrs PG! I've heard they are pretty good, once they establish it's a genuine claim. My two year grace period with my house builder ends next month so I'll be at the mercy of the NHBC if anything goes wrong after then :-S

Must be the time of the year for spiders as my place has been over-run with them too... though unfortunately not of the money variety.

Got a feeling that the heating will be on any day now at this rate...

Oh, and whilst I'm on, nothing wrong with a bit of Duran Duran :-)
